Tbh even One Punch Man where the ML supposedly uses only one punch to defeat the villains is more interesting than this drama which has so many other things going on for it.

He neglected everything except HaNa tbh and it was so tiring to see that 😔

Why does this trash drama has 8.4 rating? It's at best 7 and nothing else. What did Dong Ju even learn from his actions, he is still as reckless as he was in the drama. If the first 4 and last 4 episodes weren't average at best then I would have given it 3 or 4 at best. What a waste of such a talented cast, direction and OSTs. They deserved a better drama. Why did the makers choose such a lousy writer when they have better cop drama writers.

I think it was portrayed in a satirical way, highlighting how drama screenwriters often excuse the SML's bad behavior and give them excessive screen time, just to provoke or annoy viewers, thinking we'll somehow end up liking them.

What kind of wife is SYM supposed to be? In episode 34, her stepmother is treating Nan Feng terribly, and she didn’t say a single word. Does she even love him? He went against the emperor for her, yet she can't do something as basic as asking her stepmother to treat him with respect. I can now see why people say SYM didn’t deserve his love.

I have questions for you, who suffered more Nan Feng or ML from Legend of Zang Hai? I want to start to Zang Hai next but I don't want to again go through so much misunderstandings and sufferings by ML.

And you know what's more infuriating, she was saying that Nan Feng and Shangguan Fe even owe her for that. It's like sometimes men say, girls who wear unknowingly seduce them that's why they misbehave.

Even Nan Feng becomes dumb from ep-21 and ep-26, he could have easily took help from SYM after explaining everything to her but no I don't know what he was trying to do when he didn't even explain anything to her.

And no one is going to call out how SYT used drugs to sexually assault Li Shiliu, only when a men does it then only it's considered as SA otherwise it's only taken as fun part I know.

From ep-21 to ep-26, everyone became dumb I don't know why except Nan Heng. They were making so many dumb decisions which made our boy Nan Feng get hurt without any reason. No one even apologized for it to him. Especially Song Yimeng, she was the worst tbh. She could have explained it to him that something like this could happen to him but no she was only using excuses that how do I even explain it to you.

Anyone else who hated Nan Rui and the emperor? I can understand why CGH hated Nan Feng as he had genuine reasons for that, but I don't understand why blood siblings and his own father hated him so much. I don't know why CGH got so much power from Emperor when he was wrong most of the time and when he didn't even forgive his own son Nan Feng anytime.

Honestly this is the only drama where I think the whole misunderstandings trope between the leads was played out well. It didn't make me support anyone but rather made me think from their perspectives on why they hate/misunderstand each other. It's not like Feud where I was heavily supporting ML and his traumas as they weren't shown properly while FL's cruelty towards ML was dismissed as her love for her son with most of the viewers supporting FL's baseless actions.

I'm on ep-9 and I'm confused about something, why was SYM spending so much time on thinking about how to assassinate Nan Feng? She just have to put herself in danger in a secluded corner and when NF tries to save her, she can just kill him or get him killed while saving her. The whole logic doesn't make sense.

I think the major problem is that actors don't get the full script at the start of the signing. They are only to allowed to read the original novel and first 5-10 episodes which makes them believe that the drama is going to be good but then our screenwriters try to be super smart by trying to create a adaptation which has so much original unnecessary plots/changes that it becomes a cheap imitation of the novel without much substance. It's better to call them a inspiration rather than an adaptation because except the names, every other plot and character motivations are different here.
