So yeah, my initial impression was a bit off. She did handle things with her sister in her own way, but still, she came across as such a hypocrite. She was clearly jealous and was not even speaking to the male lead properly because of the Qing Yu situation, yet she had no regard for his feelings while going on multiple dates with Wen Zong. All he did was eat a meal with Qing Yu, nothing more. But she acted like he had cheated on her or something. Honestly, she was so bitter and jealous. She thought it was perfectly fine for her to hang out with other guys, but the moment he did something similar, she would get mad and completely stop talking to him.
The FL is so so dumb guys, at least she should get some revenge on her sister Ming Chu or something for whatever she is doing but no she has to forgive like a naive puppy she is. Is she really the General's daughter? She doesn't have even one single brain cell to successfully divert her sister's schemes
Yep, the whole Ibeom and Sunae situation was just so bad. Why was he even acting cold and angry toward his brother? It was entirely his and Sunae's fault for not explaining anything about what happened years ago and letting the misunderstanding fester. It left such a heavy burden on Igyeom’s heart for so many years, all because of a misunderstanding?
And another thing, why did Ibeom suddenly become a half baked Robin Hood, with his face plastered across every city, when he was supposed to be in hiding? He was reckless and foolish and didn’t deserve a brother like Igyeom.
As for Sunae… the less said, the better. She was just as terrible and never deserved Igyeom’s love. At the very least, she could have broken up with him or explained things properly before running away with his closest brother. Absolutely shameless sl*t.
Can I kill Chun Sam? Almost everytime due to this son of a bitch motherfucker, the leads get into trouble. How can a servant be this timid? How wasn't he not beaten enough if he doesn't know any skills?
This drama gives off the vibe that the bad guys always come out on top, while the good ones get left behind. There are several moments that really drive that point home. For something that's supposed to be a feel-good, slice-of-life show, it leans a bit too much into the whole "just stay positive and everything will be fine" mindset. It feels like problems are just swept under the rug, and no one really takes responsibility or says sorry.
This is one of the very few dramas where I felt the FL was too good for ML. ML was really insecure and didn't really give much clear indication of his feelings towards her sometimes. He was like your regular FLs that we see nowadays.
How is the FL considered strong at all? She was constantly conflicted and couldn’t even give a decent comeback to the SML. She just stood there like a doormat most of the time. She kept misunderstanding the ML yet never once apologized. There were so many issues with this drama, I’d honestly need 3-4 hours just to list them all.
