What do you expect when the majority of audience is female.

Same Chingu, she was my favourite character in the whole show. I so so loved her here 😍

I am on ep-7, and I feel like I might be the odd one out, but I have never really liked Miji as a character or her love story with Ho Su. It felt one sided to me. Ho Su was the one putting in most of the effort, even though he was going through more emotional turmoil. He even ended up confessing again, while Miji stayed stuck in her constant inner conflict, even though he had already confessed in a subtle way before. She could have confessed too, but she did not, acting like a phabo. Miji kept misunderstanding his feelings because of her overthinking, insecurity, carelessness, and victim complex. Even Miji herself seemed confused about why Ho Su liked her, because she knew she had not really done anything for him. I actually found myself relating more to Mi Rae’s story. Miji, on the other hand, always portrayed herself as the victim, even when she was clearly in the wrong.

No FL and ML have a happy ending don't worry

She is an original character created for the drama so can't say anything about her but most probably she will be paired with My Wu Xia.

I don't know what will happen in the drama but in the novel he isn't even the real prince but rather he is the prince of another country and together with Shen Zaiye confuses everyone even the previous Emperor and becomes the new Emperor when every other prince dies uniting all 3 countries.

Mu Wu Xia becomes the Emperor in the end of the novel

I don't think it was spicy tbh, it was straight up rape which I didn't like at all. Rest of their intimate scenes were really good though.

She doesn't become the prince's consort rather she fakes being his concubines for a reason. It will happen most probably in 3/4 part of the drama

Thanks, I’ll start it soon. I, along with many others, was quite disappointed that Liu Haocun didn’t have any kissing scenes in BPIL, especially since it was a romance-focused drama. So I can understand why people are curious about the romance here. But since this one is more of a fantasy drama, I don’t really have any expectations in that regard.

How is the romance guys?

Thanks for the recommendation! Just one question. Does the ML here become a drunkard or act too simpish, always caught up in thoughts about the FL? That’s what happened in the 2nd half of The Ingenious One and I really did not like it at all. Also, the romance here is not half baked, right? I found the romance in The Ingenious One too sudden, and I did not like how the ML suddenly wanted to become less ruthless or became mopey just because of her.

Hey guys, can you please compare this drama with The Ingenious One? I just finished watching it and I'm in the mood for something similar. I'm not sure if Legend of Zang Hai would be a good pick, so I'd love to hear your opinions.

Love how the FL's way of hurting the ML for fun is seen as adorable here. But if the roles were reversed, people would be screaming domestic abuse. I really love how our dear fellow female viewers have double standards.

I don’t remember exactly whether he had kissing scenes in Forever and Ever as it's been a long time for me, but as far as I recall, he also did fake-outs in that drama. The only drama where he didn’t do fake-outs was The Blue Whisper, and that was only because Dilreba convinced his wife about it. In all his other dramas, either there are no kissing scenes, or they’re just fake-outs like in this one.
