As I am done reading 20 or so chapters , I suspect that the betrayal is related to him cheating on her. Can anyone please confirm that my guess is wrong? Cheating is irredeemable in my eyes. Yeah, i can't figure out whether she is angry, perplexed or just annoyed. In some scenes it feels she is trying too hard to squeeze out emotions but it's not working.It's my first drama of hers as well.
I have been waiting for this drama for quite sometime. So far it's a decent watch. Bai Jing Ting is the star of the show and story is quite well written. My only gripe is with the female lead 's acting . She is so rigid that i can't differentiate her moments of despair , rage , helplessness. It's the same expression majority of the time and it feels like she is trying too hard to squeeze out those emotions .Not at all natural unlike the male lead. I wish she could have been less wooden cause i really wanted to like this show. Knowing they are a couple irl, i expected a lot but their chemistry is also not that impressive and something feels empty. I don't think i will drop it cause i have watched like 5 episodes only and the rest of the stuff is pretty interesting. Hope that it gets better in the upcoming episodes

Majority of you all probably already started your next drama. Even I did. Watching destined rn. Ml is good but can't warm up to the acting of the fl . She is quite wooden. Miss my yanhui 🥺. I mean just because you were mistreated doesn't mean you need to wear that"i am so miserable" expression all the time. And the leads do not seem to have any chemistry although they are dating irl.
