"They are probably the same people who love or rate high, crap drama, just because they are "popular"'

Literally how I view people who loved this drama lol
The plot was poorly written, we just don't understand how can people find it enjoyable

not a fan of AOT's ending? hahaha
These people just don't have high standards. I guess that's why these shows write themselves, they know they will always find a public for dumb plots as long as actors are cute. I mean, when I see a kdrama like My ID is gangnam beauty get such a high rates, I just wonder with what part of their brain people watch things...
I thought "ouh, Mouse raised the bar, no way can they release bad kdramas after this one" you know because I expected people to hold futur kdramas to a higher standards, but nope. As long as kdramas like Link still get views and praises, the bar will stay on the floor, it's a pity

you are right , but if you asked me which episodes you'd want to watch to save time, well , i 'd say : ep 13-16,…
What amazes me is how they were able to drag the most stupid mystery plot for so long without people having a problem with it lmao
Like, they gave people nothing for 14 episodes thens solve the plot with no explanations and people stillo enjoyed it apparently

Anime fans are hard to please, their standards is higher.
Kdrama fans tend to just enjoy the vibe of a show, especially romcom ones. I saw people rating this show 10/10, "the mystery was amazing"...they be acting like we weren't serve Mouse not too long ago lol

+1
You either write a thriller properly or you don't, the whole mixing genre was stupid
To think they get money to write things like that...

"Criminal mystery part in Link is just terribly written, there is no justification here"
That's my point exactly. Even if the killer in BE was obvious for some people, they wrote his character well enough that things made a lot of sense. There was an actual story line because the drama was mystery focused. Of course if one is used to plot twist, it's pretty easy to figure out who the killer is, and the way the drama tried to make us believe ML was the killer was a bit corny when we knew it wasn't him. But still T_T
To say that a petty mystery case in a romcom drama that was so weak they had to use suspens to have people keep watching is better than BE, I don't understand you hahaha

I feel like it will be difficult to do better than Mouse now

That's sooooooo bad, I can't believe you said it's not worse than BE lmaoo
I can't remember much of the plot but the mystery part in BE was way better than in Link. I mean the plotwist in BE was so obvious but I kept thinking "no, that can't be him, right?" that it actually kept me on the edge of my seat. The whole hidden in plain sight worked really well in my opinion.
I knew from the get go that Link would give us NOTHING in term of mystery solving. I mean, poorly written mystery shows can be spotted from miles away. They just casted 2 popular actors to get their views, a bit of mystery to get people to keep watching and then gave us nothing.
Every year you can count on one finger the good dramas and every year I wish it would be enough to raise the bar, but please, it's 2022 what even was this show??
Thanks for the recap, glad I dropped it haha!

arf, he could have gone with a drama with a better trope since he gained some credibility and popularity after his acting in TRSC. What kind of reused plot is that? Cold CEO vs cute employee ? In 2022 ?

can somone care to explain what exactly Yul did to check if dead body was soulshift? like yeah we can check the…
Ok, someone correct me if I'm wrong, but how I understand it, I think when the soul is not mage (or energy related), the body doesn't go wild because their energy gate is not open thus no energy is leaking. Someone who uses their energy though (mages and all..) will lose energy and will need to feed on a souls.
Things go south once you start feeding on souls (which is why Mudeok was concerned after she fed on the eunuch).
Mudeok didn't go wild before because during the soul shifting, Naksu lost her energy (like Kang Jang did when he switched bodies with the king, because the host body was too weak).
The apprentice was killed, closed energy gate, no energy leaking, didn't go wild. Then Yul put energy in him, but of course he's dead so the energy left. Leaked energy = running wild, apparently even dead.

Wow, that episode really delivered after yesterday's one.
So many revelations!
We know that once a soul shifter feeds on another person's energy is when trouble starts, next episodes will be interesting!
There are so many foreshadowings regarding who/what Mudeok really is, once we understand it better, coming back on the past episodes, a lot of scenes will make more sense.

Creating an army of mages wasn't new???
Oh that's soo helpful, I'll look at it, thanks! I usually just hope to catch up on people's name with time and that those I don't remember won't have a big impact plotwise haha

Creating an army of mages wasn't new???
We definetly saw the soul ejector before + the guy that wanted Jang uk's body used one if you try to recall the scene. It's when Jang Uk met Mudeok (the real one) and then he in the end didn't end up losing his body. So at this point we sort of know what they are and what they do andhow they work. There is this guy he also kept alive using it, maybe it's the euneuch? I honestly don't remember who it was haha. But he looked important enough that I though "oh, he's definetly keeping important people alive to gain power". So the revelation that he keeps mages alive was not so surprising. But then you were right if you thought of an army haha
