Oh okay hope you're enjoying it 🤭. I actually like cdrama historicals and kdrama historicals equally because they both have their pros and cons in my opinion. However i like how cdramas are more creative and unpredictable. But sometimes crave kdrama style acting and cinematography (which is a bit more natural i think) i recently finished watching the haunted palace. It was good but the actor who played the king Kim Jihoon, his acting was sooooo amazing, in fact it was too good for the drama that i wished i was watching a more serious saeguk instead of a silly fantasy romcom!

Funnily enough i enjoyed The Double way more! I understand why people like prisoner of beauty though. Did you watch Legend of zhang hai?

He was absolutely fantastic in this role. He truly stole the show, in fact he was almost too good for the role in a way? I think the show was fun and quite surface level, but seeing how well he took his character and acted I think he deserves to be in a more serious and thrilling saeguk. One where he can do a lot of shouting and political mind games
