I think they are two different dramas so if you go in comparing them both you may feel a little disappointed. Prisoner of Beauty is at its core a pure romance story through and through (which is why its so popular) the political parts arent as strong and there are loads of eps of cushy romance parts. Love like the Galaxy on the other hand is an epic slice of life, coming of age historical epic, that features a detailed and nuanced look at war, politics, family, revenge, love and growth. In my opinion i couldnt place Prisoner of Beauty as on par with Love Like The Galaxy. However POB will definitely appeal to some viewers, i think the first few episodes are very strong. I just wasnt a fan of how romantic the drama turned out to be.

This show is interesting because there are parts that should be boring, but I feel like something exciting is always happening or about to happen which keeps me watching. The cinematography and colour grading is also very gorgeous. I was told this was the same director as Mr Queen but I think Mr Queen had a higher budget. Anyways I think part of the reason why I enjoy this show so much even though its not perfect is because its very unique and unpredictable. Also the King lowkey stole the show for me, his acting + his face card is enough for me to tune in every week. And yes I agree with you about the music, the ost is non existent. The Red Sleeve for example had a wonderful ost

I did watch Twinkling Watermelon actually but I kept on getting stuck at ep 4. I don't think its my kind of drama, but I get why people like it!
