Just watched the 1st episode. LOVE IT. The soundtrack is sooooo good, I love the opening and ending song and all of the BGM pieces. A sign of a good show is its soundtrack because I'll definitely be adding the songs to my playlist. Next we have gorgeous cinematography, gorgeous costumes and a very political plot being set up - my absolute fave.

I just finished watching s1 now. Thank you to all the people that recommended me this show after Legend of Zhang Hai, its genuinely one of the best tv shows I have ever watched. The ost, the characters, the detailed plots. Favourite episodes are episode 7, episode 27 and the Beiqi Arc. Like I have no idea how people waited 5 years for season 2. Fan Xian I love you.
