She ends up with 2ml “so far” but webtoon isn’t over
Don’t know, it’s possible even year(s). They tend to drag the story in webtoons. Makes sense since they want to make a lot of money if the webtoon is popular
Come on! Don't read and care about those k-netizens' reaction. They will always find the faults on every drama…
It’s actually the same in webtoon in regards of the 3 main character importance, 2ML was introduced a little bit later and not in the beginning, so it makes sense he didn’t appear in episode 1. In the webtoon, both guys are mostly amicable to each other although they have a past grudge due to misunderstanding if I recall properly ... but it seems like they will actually fight each other here in the drama according to trailer which I don’t like. I hope they are not fighting due to fighting for love in this drama but because of misunderstandings if they had to fight. In the webtoon, they respect FL romantic choices and don’t try to interfere. There was no love competition, at least at the last chapter I read before I dropped it.
I already have 2Nd lead syndrome after watching episode 2. He has so much personality and lights up a room but…
Also all the characters need to go see optometrist/eye doctor because they are blind because ugly ducking doesn’t look drastically different with make up on. In webtoon, they made so much changes that even her facial structures look very different lol

I won’t let them affect my personal experience and my own thoughts while watching. I do have some personal problems with the story. I actually wished they followed the webtoon more in the beginning of the webtoon because that was when it was the greatest. They can change the second half of the webtoon because it got repetitive and boring
I already have 2Nd lead syndrome after watching episode 2. He has so much personality and lights up a room but Suho is a boring, stiff character and he was like that in the webtoon. In the webtoon I was easily rooting for seo jun and it looks like it will be the same for this drama :( the highlight of this episode is Seojun meeting FL. I kind of wish they made 2FL antagonistic with ugly ducking in the beginning of the drama just like in the webtoon because it was wonderful to see how their relationship developed and formed, I don’t like seeing them automatically friends. Also I’m disappointed that they are not developing the sisterhood between her and her older sister because their relationship in the beginning of the webtoon was beautiful.
Korean netizens is ostracizing true beauty for being so cringe. That’s the first time I hear that for a Kdrama in a long time. I do agree that this drama doesn’t feel like a 2020 drama but like a 2010 or earlier kind of drama
>Eunwoo character essence is essentially My ID is Gangnam part Haven't watched yet but thought that it would be…
Hopefully they expand his character into something more unique for the drama but not likely since I read a good chunk of the webtoon before I dropped it.
ah its so frustrating because makeup didnt help her, she just cleaned up her face with makeup, which she can do…
I saw a comment online that made me laughed, that this is a high school version of “she was pretty” because that’s exactly it. I’m only chugging along due to MGY. If Mr. Queen turns out to be amazing, I might drop this drama
I don’t like the typical beginning of the “ugly ducking” getting teased and taunted by her looks. She looked like a normal girl when she was a young girl but with a few pink splotches on her face. That’s the definition of ugly?
Ugly ducking dad from what I recalled wasn’t featured much or at all in the webtoon, her mom was basically a single mother, at least the portion of the webtoon I read until I dropped it. I really hope they develop the relationship FL had with her sister, I liked the sisterhood that was presented in the webtoon
Eunwoo character essence is essentially My ID is Gangnam part 2, so it’s okay, not bad but also not great.
MGY puts her soul into her role and makes my sympathetic for her character but at the same time I do cringe due to the writing of her character on the drama. I suppose she was cringe in the webtoon too but I don’t recall it being that bad.
I also don’t like how they added a bullying element to the drama, her character wasn’t bullied by her classmates based on her looks, maybe they laughed at how ridiculous she looked when she tried to use make up for the first time. In the webtoon it was mostly in her head, that people were looking down at her but in the drama they actually confronted her and laughed at her in front of her face. I think it would make the drama more unique if they made it where it was all in her head that people were ostracizing her and that it was mostly her who looked down on herself and not other people.
So far it is a very typical school drama although there’s lot of cheese here, but so far not a bad way to kill some time.
I haven’t watched the finale episode yet but I couldn’t help myself from reading the spoilers. The ending could had been better but it’s not surprising what happened to one of our favorite characters. I’m surprised by the reactions of some of the commentators here since many of you seem like drama veterans, it’s expected that would happened given the type of drama it is. Like I predicted the character fate after ep 2 or 3. The only thing I was surprised was that it wasn’t more dark and more gloomy at the end (I guess I shouldn’t be too surprised since there were so many cheesy love moments between the leads). Too many happy endings, I would prefer more bittersweet endings for most of the characters since many of the characters were gray. It makes it feel cheap and too disney-like.

81 percent of netizens (out of 46,000 plus votes) want HJP to win the girl lol
