She is a natural actress and her screen presence is undeniably strong. Not mentioning her superb versatility especially when she was younger, too bad like her colleague Amami Yuki she's being typecasted nowadays. You've got to watch her earlier works (before 2007) because the shows she has been in this late 5-6 years do not do justice. However, she is still one of those rare reliable actress who can alleviate the quality of shows significantly wherever she is in
I wonder why only the 1st episode getting subs. The first episode is promising and intense though. Love the acting duel between main lead and the antagonist character
Itazura no Kiss getting a sequel. I hope they make it in 2017 or 2018, not 2014, can't imagine little kid like Honoka Miki bearing a child LOL.
Mogura no Uta's script is written by Kudo Kankuro. Oh dear, master Kudokan meets Takashi Miike again since Zebraman, plus superb cast lineup, I bet it'll be an epic watch!
Had she improves in terms of role choice, I'd dare to say she will easily beat everyone of her age group in acting. It is her atrocious choices that makes her performance sometimes looked bad while actually she is skilled (though somewhat still raw), quite adventurous and extremely versatile. That bad shows don't do her justice, you've got to watch her better characters like in Cafe Isobe, Ninkyo Helper, Moteki, The Girl Who Leapt Through Time (both version, since the 2006 version features her as voice actress), Tsurukame Josanin (I wonder why no one subbed this drama), Halfway and if you don't mind to see over-the-top shows - Zebraman 2. She is one of those rare actress who can fill almost any role out there when young.
I don't really understand why anybody would like her acting. To me she was a total fail while playing Misa in…
I think she's pretty good. Not yet in godlike zone, but still better than most of actress of her age group, let alone Maki and Masami Nagasawa. She showed that she can play depth pretty well and even when she was 17 (when she was an almost complete newbie back then), her performance in Engine is really good. Not mentioned that she is reasonably versatile for a 25 years old-er
The drama should be made into 5-6 episodes not 12, otherwise the scriptwriter would be running out of idea and ended up making it unbearably repetitive
Zero comment on this page? Come on, you gotta be kidding me. Perhaps she would be remembered forever for her perfect portrayal of Takasu Aiko in Karei Naru Ichizoku. The best villain in JDrama land EVER
Hm, there's no review for this drama! I should have written one after I watched it. I don't think I can do it…
Yes, you have to. Arata is simply damn good on this drama, he literally owns it and this is one of his best performances so far. I was supposed to give a 10, but the ending is kinda bit too sentimental, since the rest 5 episodes are in high tempo and quite thrilling
This is perhaps one of the most depressing movies ever made. Even more painful to watch compared to Der Untergang. Insanely good presentation and acting though.
