Luo Jin has SUCH A sexy nasal (stuffed nose) voice .. purring cat like
Yeah drama viewers were a lot different back then. I miss those days. Not just the discussions but also the quality of dramas too were just so much better.

Omg blast from the past. I love Luo Jin so much, one of my top favorite actors. It's been ages since I watched this. I should really go for a rewatch now that there are better subs out there. Back when this was first airing I remember having to watch it on amazon prime and the subs for a lot of the episodes were not good
you kids wouldnt be able to handle watching dramas pre2020ðŸ˜
I agree that it's better to have the original actors of course. Back in the day though there wasn't really another option lol, everything was dubbed by voice actors instead. Just had to get used to it.
the whole show?? T_T does she not get her memories back and return to how she was before at any point
I read that she gets her memories back at some point but she is basically still just the same chipper Xue Ranran. I was hoping once she got her memories back she'd be more similar to MQG but according to other comment that's not the case. A huge bummer. I was loving the show but ever since the perspective went back to her as XRR I haven't had the desire to watch any more episodes.
should i watch feud or moonlight mystique? don't have a ton of free time but i love bai lu and want to start one of her dramas next so help me decide plx
Kinda bummed that it seems like Xue Ranran will be her character for the majority of the drama. Mu Qingge was so refreshing. Powerful, kind, funny, but also took care of what needed to be done. Now we're just back to the basic cheerful fl that's in every drama. Might put it on hold. I wasn't feeling the first few episodes and it wasnt until we saw her past as MQG that I got invested. And reading in the comments that she stays XRR the whole show. ehhh I think i'm out. I don't know why they would want to make a character as compelling as MQG into a boring cookie cutter xianxia fl.
"minimal intimacy" there should be NONE when one of the leads is a minor and the other is almost 30. There…
I've said what I needed to say here. I'm not responding anymore and I'm blocking anyone else who comments back to me with more creepy bullshit trying to excuse this.
I agree that maybe another actress or actor should have been hired. But a child, at almost 18? Sorry, a child…
"Pre-adult" is not a thing. You really think 17 and 26 is an acceptable age gap and isn't an issue? Wtf is wrong with you? You're repeating shit that literal predators say to excuse their actions.
Lmao and I did complain about that drama when it was first announced. Scroll back and you'll find my comment.

No. I'm going to continue to voice my opinion and I'm not going to be shut down by people who are okay with the exploitation of minors. There is no excuse for this casting. You are on the wrong side of this argument and nothing any of you have said changes this. You are coming up with excuses for something that is objectively wrong and harmful. We should never normalize seeing a minor romantically involved with an adult.

Wtf does medical terminology have to do with anything here? She's not mentally or physically an adult. She is visibly 17 years old. It is disgusting to watch her with someone who is very clearly adult man in a romantic setting.
Seriously what is wrong with you people? You are obsessed with trying to justify this and explain why she's "technically" not a child. I can't believe how many women on this site are defending this 🤢🤢🤢
I really loved Yeongrye. I'm the biggest sucker for fl chases ml first and it starts out with unrequited love and the ml liking someone else. I hate though the kotoko type characters that usually dominate this trope so i am so so glad we got a fl like Yeongrye. She was exactly the kind of female lead I love.
I liked this drama. Yeah, it went off the rails in the second half. Especially Jonghui's story, that got really stupid. But the girls friendship in the first half and then the romance in the second half were both really sweet and fun to watch.

Whenever people start trying to argue what is "technically" a child I know to stop engaging. Freaks, seriously. This casting is disturbing, End of story.
