from the comments ive read is this story like, Princess Agents?where the first half was brilliant, the female…
It depends on what you like, but I think yeah it's worth watching. It's a unique historical, much different than many other c dramas I've seen. But mind you there is a bit of dragging and really ridiculous plot lines at points in the show. But I liked it.
Mu Le is the male lead. Ye Yuan An is a human but she's bitten by something near the end (I think it was a bat, but I can't remember exactly) that made her mutate. She does get it reversed though and looks normal again.
After using this site for a couple of months, I have seen the bias of the international fans on kdramas. I'm guessing…
I definitely agree with you. I can only remember two dramas (Fighter of Destiny and Emperor: Owner of the Mask) where SLS for the second female lead was prominent in the comments.
Shitty male actors that are hot get cut so much slack but female actors with average skill get torn apart.
Also, yeah just ignore the ratings on here. Some really terrible dramas have high 8 even 9 scores but others that don't pander to the wish fulfillment of much of the straight female audience get torn apart by reviews. I've never seen this particular drama, but just in general I keep that in mind.
I think the Ji Heng comments are a bit upsetting to hear considering how much the actress has gone through. We…
I have sympathy for the actress however, we're allowed to criticize the character, the writing, and her acting. The people launching personal attacks on the actress are totally uncalled for but, the shitty writing surrounding her character shouldn't be praised just because she's going through a rough time.
I don't mind older woman/younger man pairings if the couple still looks similar in age. Like Ariel Lin and Bin Bin in IWNLYG looked super good together that the age gap didn't matter at all. But to me personally Victoria Song just looks too much older than SWL for me to enjoy it. She looks like an aunt or a much older sister. I know it's a double standard because there's loads of age gaps between older man/younger woman that I don't complain about (I even defend them lmao), but it's my personal preference.
This drama is a nice surprise :) I really enjoy it, but i don't understand people picking on Jin Se Yeon for her…
She used to be not so great in some of her early work but I agree that she's doing fine in this drama. There are worse actors than her who get main roles, people just like to nitpick at her for some reason.
Is there going to be a season 2? That little snippet at the end leads me to believe so but I'm not sure, every Taiwanese drama I've seen has never had more than one. If this is the end then I think it needed a few more episodes to really close it out right. There were also a few characters I would have loved to see more of. With that being said, it was a really special show. I cried literally every episode, it was beautiful.
I wasn't sure of how they were going to tie LZW and WQS together but I am not disappointed! The writing is so…
Well I'm confused lmao. I didn't see the multiple Li Zi Wei's in one timeline coming. Also MJJ my poor bb, I was sobbing. I'm so happy episode 10's almost fully subbed.
Alright, this one has 18 more episodes than last year's. It better have a well paced, satisfying ending unlike the other version. I loved the other version, but the last few episodes were ass.

It depends on how you interpret it, but the male lead dies near the end. There's the slight possibility that he's alive, but probably not.
