Most beautiful man alive and judging by his kiddie photo once the most beautiful kid.
He speaks very good English so hopefully Hollywood comes knocking. I'm surprised that Netflix didn't grab him. They are in Song Kang tank although CEW has much more star power going by the ratings of dramas he headlined.
Thank you for this. I have enjoyed Kingdom, but I will not waste my time. I can read spoilers for the origin story…
I honestly don't think this movie was needed. All they had to do is just provide a flashback (since dramas are big on it) that explains that she isn't a friend but foe and why. But a cash grab movie with Army of the Dead tiger? Waste.
I like the prince. If she wants to hurt him, I won't have any problem watching her die the most painful way possible.
same. Just because some Joseon military leaders at the border plotted her tribe's downfall to cover up for their own mess, that doesn't excuse unleashing zombies on everyone least of all Lee Chang, Young-shin, Seo-bi and Beom-pal. Screw her if she touches any of them!
"But why didnt the humans killed by the tiger didnt turn into zombies?" --> I think someone in the movie said…
This is how it went:
Troops killed the ginseng hunters. Dead bodies were thrown into a pit. Tiger came and feasted on them. Tiger bites gave the commander the idea to blame the deaths on the tiger attack. Ashin's father, the spy for Joseon, was sent to plant the story about the tiger attack among that other tribe. That's how they knew he was the spy, that one guy didn't believe his story because Jurchen warriors were trained in combat since childhood and 1 tiger wouldn't have killed so many at once. Turned out, that was a zombie tiger but since the tribe remained suspicious, Joseon commander gave that survivor something from Ashin's tribe that they allegedly found on the site to put the blame on her people. But anyway, long story short, first batched of Jurchens were killed by Joseon soldiers and tiger ate them when they were already dead. So they couldn't turn. The guys that were bitten by the tiger were also shot with arrows before they could turn so nobody knew what bite could have done to them. @anastasia22 @pro
Ashin wanted to resurrect her family. She probably thought they would be back as normal people (hence her vision of them as alive) but they turned into zombies. Which made her go crazy obviously since she wouldn't keep them and feed them and then unleash zombie plague on Joseon. You could see her little sister among the chained zombies.
The tiger killed many people but ate nobody, the tribe had no proof to blame anyone else for the death of those…
agreed. I wasn't connecting with this and then her revenge was so over the top. when she started shooting people who tried to escape I was, like, I don't care about your grievances, sweetie. Some lines shouldn't be crossed. Also, her father's fate was ridiculous. If he refused to eat he would have died though more likely those OTT wounds would have killed him. So OTT that I rolled my eyes rather than felt sympathy.
100% with you. IOTNBO imo is a hella problematic drama with its romanticisation of serious problems. Vincenzo,…
I learned the hard way to skip anything with Gumiho in the title or in a drama. Of all creatures from Korean folklore, that one is the most overused and the least interesting. Gumiho is to K drama what vampire is to American dramas. Enough is enough.
The only ones I haven't watched on this list are Mr. Queen and Move to Heaven but they are on my list to watch.…
I liked Vincenzo overall thanks to endearing characters (Kwak Doing Yeon was my favorite and I consider him the MVP of the drama) but bait and switch with the grand Italian opening almost made me drop it. I was so disappointed that outside of those 15 min or so the rest was set in Seoul and had nothing to do with Mafia.
Oh FFS! Get the Season 3 off the ground already! I don't mind these special episodes as long as S3 is a go. But right now it's all only special episodes and no word on S3. Oh and this sepcial episode is only rumor level atm.
Cliffhanger sounds great. Sing me in. Love this actor. Hot and manly af.
Re: last gif. Note to K stylists. Twilight is so aughts. Flour make up and red lipstick on men should not be a thing even if they play vampires which YSH doesn't.
I think that outdoor reuse has a lot to do with shooting permit. At least that's how it's done in Hollywood North. You can't just pick the street or building, etc and shoot.
