I thought there was still 22 episodes left and then it says final episode T T. I guess they cut it off since nobody watches it. I love this drama so much though.
Jo Soon Ja is losing her sh*t. I can't help but feel bad for her although this is a victory to celebrate. It's still episode 96 and Jo soon Ja is completely done. I wonder what will happen in the rest of 24 episodes. Hopefully no more drama and everyone will be settling down to their peaceful life in Kungdari.
I'm kinda dropping this. It was really good in the beginning. It made me excited for the upcoming 100 episodes. But now that I see all the cast, I can't seem to make myself like it especially when all the characters are chaebols. I was ready to hate on the doctor for 100 episodes but it looks like Cha Mi Yun already had her revenge.
I'm on episode 88 and it's picking up really great. There's still like 32 episodes more so I'm still worried. Hopefully it's 32 episodes of Song Bomi kicking Jo Soon Ja's butt.
The scene where 3 people just let the grandmother have a heart attack on the floor to death is probably the most twisted scene I have seen in a drama. It's so beyond evil it makes me wish these people have the most bitter ending.
I can now fairly say MBC dramas are underrated. Dramas are meant to shake you emotionally. They're doing it effectively to me with their recent dramas.
With Blessing of the Sea and this drama I like MBC's trend of showing touching reunions in their daily dramas. I like the way how they build up the episode to this scene.
Also, since Mr Han is tied up, Song Bomi is running things on her own. I guess since a lot of things are already revealed there is no reason to make her gullible anymore. Hopefully this momentum keeps up and Song Bomi defeats Jo Soon Ja in her own ways. I love a drama with good character development.
After watching Golden Garden's dramatic ending, this was more of a let down. Choi Tae Joon deserves more punishment. I wish he got into an accident instead and had his eyeballs switched with his testicles. I am not relieved at all.
Wow. Choi Yoon So playing the main character role. Korean TV really knows how to hype me up. I automatically put this in my watchlist. I don't even care if it's a sh*tty drama.
wanted to watch this for Oh Ji Eun but im guessing she was someone you had no choice but to hate
Liked this comment for just simply mentioning Oh Ji Eun. I'm a fan. I think this role is most likely experimental for her. I was curious in the beginning how she's going to pull it. This character is not even that evil though.
I agree, but it is starting to feel like we have seen the same thing for the last 10 episodes. I am wondering…
Nabi's actually getting on my nerve lately. But I'm curious how she'll react when he finds his father. If she knows she has someone else to go to, she might accept herself. But I would not underestimate the spoiled rich girl to react negatively seeing how her father might not meet her standards.
As for the pacing, it's something that I've already accepted since they need to fill the 120 episodes and there is not much else to do after putting Ms Jo into jail or get her character killed. I mean I get it, Song Bomi is not a very intelligent person. When she gets a critical piece of evidence, the first thing she does is get her enemies notified about it.
What I wish this drama would do is to bring back the comic scenes they had in the first parts of this drama. Perhaps, they should show the whole village ganging up on Ms Jo and Mon Jangsu with their pitchforks and bolos. I also like it when they show some slow mo scenes from time to time like that part where Song Bomi was dragged to the van or when the villagers ganged up on people. Hopefully we see Mr Song's ghost one more time perhaps in the last moments of Ms Jo or perhaps when he watches Song Bomi finally becoming happy. That part where his ghost waves his hand and walks off was like my favorite scene in this drama. It also showed my favorite background which even make it more dramatic and touching for me.
Hopefully the director and writer doesn't get lazy in the final episodes like how they're doing now. I'm excited to see Song Bomi becoming the new landlord of Kungdari and see how the villagers react.
Kwangil really needs to give up soon. Circumstances in this drama does not bode for him well. First, Choi Tae Jun needs to pay for his sins. Kwangil following his father's path might be a good excuse to kill his character for that reason. Second, Yoonwol, Shiwol, and Jimin needs to be together in the end since that would leave a good lasting impression for the drama. Jimin being confused about who he will call father is another good excuse to kill Kwangil's character. Third, Yoonwol and Shiwol absolutely needs to be together since they have been separated for a long time. This is what the audience wants since the beginning. All their suffering needs to be justified. Otherwise, it's just cruel. Shiwol is worried that people may not like it if the two end up together. This is a bad sign for Kwangil since it means he needs to be out of the entire picture for this kind of happy ending. Before that happens, he needs to get divorced and get married to allow Shiwol and Yoonwol to be together without worrying about public sentiments. Unfortunately, Kwangil shows no signs of doing that. Someone needs to step up and slap him some sense. I can't really think of any idea how he will be saved. Otoke?
It's actually scary how they are so possessive. At this point, I can't think of anything that would make them…
Most likely yes. Although upcoming episodes will be much more suspenseful since Choi Tae Jun is already pushed into a corner. Unless the writer has no conscience, after going through so many losses, with her daughter and Mr Hwang yet to be avenged, him being a king makes a lot more sense than him being dead. Unlike everyone in this drama, he has not done any wrong. He deserves what he deserves. And he is so smart and talented, that makes him even more deserving.

I think I am now 100% sure that is not going to happen. That time when the mother-in-law talked about karma I finally realized that the entire theme of the drama centers on karma and that the writer maybe a Buddhist which makes sense given the religion in Korea.
Reasons why I'm sure about this: 1. The mother in law constantly hinted about it. 2. Mr Jung worships Buddhism in the temple. The huge golden Buddha statue where they hid the money is a giveaway. 3. When Yoonwol saved Mr Hwang, Mr Hwang was warned against mistreating his savior. The same was said about Yoonwol regarding Dukshil saving him. 4. Choi Tae Jun unlike many antagonists in other dramas, is setup to be so evil, it does not make sense for him to have a good ending. I would not be surprised if he get punished by law via hanging like the one they did to the villain in Monster(2016).
When you think about it most korean dramas are very Buddhistic, like for example the constant mention about reincarnations in many korean dramas.
Given all the misfortunes that happened to Yoonwol, it does not make sense for him to die. I think the korean title which is Sun's Seasons really hits the point. It's about Yoonwol going through different seasons of misfortune. This is very similar to the path to nirvana where a person has to go through all sorts of suffering to attain enlightenment.
In the ending in the first few episodes, right before the previews and right after the still shots, they show a group shot of the main cast. They probably don't show it in the recent episode since they have replaced Kwon Eunbin in the casting.
In that one shot with the main cast in the ending, I'm surprised that the lead actress is beside her father instead of her mother. Maybe the mother will die and we'll see more of a father-daughter tandem. Perhaps there is more to the father's character than this unemployed annoying trash.
I love makjang so could I love this drama ? The trailer got my attention but I’m not sure, any advice?
There's some crying but nothing that moved me. There is lost identity due to childhood trauma but since parents are dead, we can't expect a tear-jerking reunion. The drama is basically about wanting the villain dead somewhere in a ditch. If you like the pair in Shall We Live Together, then this is good since they have a cute chemistry. There is also a chance that she might get rich after regaining her identity, but it's not that exciting. I wish the character has some impressive talent that goes well with her gaining some wealth, but there's nothing exciting about her. Maybe. pass? I'm watching it since I'm a fan of both actresses.
I would suggest watching A Place in the Sun instead. It has all of the above except the reunions weren't tear-jerking. There is also zero romance since the main couple is separated the entire drama.

Edit: Grandma is alive. No worries.
