The ML is the perfect example of why lying is an absolutely bad human trait, doesn't matter a white or black lie, it'll make people who were lied to doubt themselves and doubt the liar, and when lies upon lies are stacked it'll reach a point of no return.
why do writers feel the need to make all the characters interlinked as if its some sort of fate ? making almost every single character related to one through fateful events will reduce the value and the importance of the main important relationships I understand its cheaper to interlink stories thus hiring less actors but characters can grow without the need to be interlinked with one another.
The business talk is really not that bad. Most of the time it’s our heroes solving some issues or overcoming…
tbh I dropped it after few episodes, the SML was too annoying for my taste, maybe my mood was off and I'll give it another try. I saw your list (I'm too lazy to make my own) I watched and LOVED a lot of your 10/10 dramas, I added the rest to my backlog, you don't have a lot of japanese drama, but If you can get around it I can't recommend gomenne seishun enough, its so fun and full of youth and has a very sweet romance story.

I loved when Fly towards you, thats made me start meeting you, and I'm currently watching you are my lover friend, I found it heavy on the business side but not too much
its parallel world china, where not a single human being is rational, common sense doesn't exist, and all people are one dimensional. I want to say sorry to my future kids, I lost some of my valuable time watching this abomination
Thanks for the list but many shows have an obvious love triangle whether the plot is dragged because of a SML/SFL or the ML/FL lead (intentionally or not) the Side character. in those cases love triangle truly exists doesn't matter if you skipped through the scenes or not.
I want to start this but I'm afraid of the 40 episodes format that it'll be too much business talking, I don't hate business as genre but most of the times you only need 20 secondes to know the situation yet it get dragged to 2-3 minutes to fill the episode with useless phrases.
One day I can tell my kids that I survived the endless pits of clichés, escaped from the plot device non human characters and I speedrunned the dead girl drama arc.
while some dialogue lines adressing SA and misogyny were really good, sadly I think the drama was oversatured and over the top with the amount and how it was portrayed that I think it backfired on the cause, they were unbelievable except maybe one.
Also no idea why there isn't love triangle tag, the plot made it clear from the very first moment that there's a triangle not only that the FL kept leading the SML a lot doesn't matter if its intentional or not, also all 3 figuratively held the kid as a hostage of their own feelings whether its hate/distrust or love
What a sweet lovely pure friendship & love story, No need for drama or sudden turns or events to know that they are in love, just two close lines getting closer to each other one millimeter at a time until they converge, no need for sudden realization or events that sparks it.
Damn the secondary couple (best friends) are abnoxious and uninteresting, they really demoted the overall quality of the drama and OMG the father, doesn't matter if he's realistic or not, he's such an unlikable character, its okay to have an unlikable character but you don't expect the viewer to suddenly shift their opinion because he said something half decent while piano.mp3 soundtrack is playing on the background.
there's no rules in what you call "screenplay", art is limitless and boundless, what you call rules and structure on how to do a story died long time ago mainly because of rashomon. I know exactly what you're experiencing, you had preconceived notions about the story so you ended up being dissapointed because its not what you expected. absolutely nothing wrong with establishing the cause of the whole story which is her friend's death, on the contrary what is cheap is to just throw the idea there as a mere concept of her friend dying and expect the viewer to relate and understand her whole situation, maybe you didn't concentrate enough but what her friend said to her in the sleepover and her last words will end up shaping the rest of her personality, her personality that she put on hold for years, before the catalyst which was her friend's death she had no clear dream or even a long term plan of her life she only works and sleeps she was in a mental coma, the viewer absolutely needed to go through all of that to fully understand why the suffering and what's lacking in her life and that's exactly why she just wondered around doing absolutely nothing for 10 episodes, doesn't matter if you're self proclaimed reincarnation of hitchcook don't underestimate mental health thinking that people can bounce back easily.
When do the leads break up and get back together? I want to start this but been hesitating cause of the break…
Please its totally okay to ask, its my absolute pleasure to share, things will get exposed in ep24 and like you guessed the fans will attack the FL and her family mostly online. but one thing will happen and it'll be the catalyst of their breakup

so glad you liked meeting you, I had such a nice calm peaceful ride with it.
