This is hilarious! This kind of car product placement is normal? In It's Okay to Not Be Okay it was Volvo (which is also heavily featured in many other dramas). What an absurd thing to complain about.

Excellent for Queen of Tears; it'll be exciting to see if it can hit 20% later on. Crash Landing on You by the same writer hit 21.7% for its finale, but its fourth episode just did 8.5% (compared to 13% for this).

Wow, episode 4 jumped to a 12.98% rating with over 3 million viewers, this is a huge hit! That means it's already the 22nd highest-rated drama on cable tv in Korea ever, and it's only four episodes in! 🤯

Well yes, that was the point. To illustrate Soo-cheol's ignorance and stupidity, which he was then promptly called out on. He is the butt of the joke, not Africa. If anything, they called out the prejudiced notions many Koreans may have about Africa. They also followed this up in a later scene with Soo-cheol trying to claim he's not prejudiced and his wife barely tolerating him.

I imagine the scriptwriter assumed anyone watching this would be able to tell that Hyun-woo doesn't *actually* want his wife to die and that he'll come to that realization soon enough.

TV ratings should be out in about 3.5 hours. I wonder if it can hit double digits today. Tomorrow may be more likely as Sunday ratings tend to be higher than Saturday ones, but we'll see.

Probably wise if you struggle with a villain with nefarious motives. Park Ji-eun loves those. Makes me wonder if he'll be as deliciously evil as Jae-kyung in My Love From the Star.

The whole point was that Soo-cheol is an uneducated moron who can't even make a fire. Which is why he was called out on his stupidity, and how he never even left his hotel room when there.

Why is Hyeri involved at all? In Jun-yeol and So-hee being on vacation in Hawaii?

Confused about why there is even drama. Timeline-wise, it seems Jun-yeol had been single for months when they got together? So why is Hyeri making a stink? Everything about dating in Korea is so dramatic.

It's an adaptation of the Chinese drama, not a straight remake. For one, it's going to be shorter at 16 episodes. I think the 2521 director is en excellent choice for this, personally.

I'm even inclined to believe Park Ji-eun wrote Hyun-woo with Soo-hyun in mind. It plays to his strengths as an actor and is somewhat similar to past roles he's done, as well - especially his character's dynamic with Hae-in, another feisty female lead.

Odd thing to say about someone who's aging better than nearly every other male actor his age. Park Sung Hoon is just three years older but looks like an ahjussi by comparison 😂

This drama feels so fresh. There's something different about it. And Jeon Jong-seo is awesome. Obsessed with her. And Moon Sang-min is even cuter than in Under the Queen's Umbrella. Rooting for them!
