The thing is her having/making friends, proper work already showcaes her desires and capability to have a normal life than any human being would want. The romance wasn't really needed and is just an addition (not to forget the drama itself isn't realistic to begin with sadly. It's a safe space). That's why it's slight romance to begin with and in my eyes, compared to most watchers, it could've worked but they rushed it (plus the ML is..)

The only 2 things I'm not sold are the romance and the Male Lead. It feels rushed, by episode 2 Junho already caught feelings and by episode 7, she wants him to touch her. There was no room for them to get to know each other properly or even hold deep conversations and he's barley even an established character himself. If we take the romance or Woo out of it who even is he? He only revolves around Woo.

Personally I think this drama could've done without the romance, it feels unnecessary or should've been a slowburn romance like Good Doctor where you saw them connect . This is strange coming from an avid Romance fan.

Nah it's just smth I always hear. Don't like how ppl put FL variety down, not every needs to be kick ass, loud, obnoxious and strong uknow. That's actually smth I've been missing in Kdrama for years now. It wasn't meant to be rude, I apologise. As a Shojo reader I'm just a little vary but thank you for the suggestion. I'll certainly check it out and probably love it.

I do like some but sadly good ones for me are rare to find (and they lost the drama in Kdrama) the past few years. The last one I completed was that Song Joong Ki drama. Don't get me wrong they're still good, well written ones but I grew up with messy, unpredictable, character development, FL variety, Slowburn and now they're realistic (relatable) with mostly bland Mls with no flaws, flavor or growth and (at this point) typical FLs. Uknow I wanna escape the reality and be entertained not sleep (kinda envious at ppl who can eat these up). Secret 2013 is literally my standard. That's why lately I've tuned in to Cdrama, Jdrama and Thai drama more.

Also the reason why I asked here if the ML is interesting, if he is, I check it out. That's my only requirement these days.

Okay I'm reading that this actually has slowburn which is so rare nowadays but the last one I was recommended had one of the blandest, perfect ML I've seen who does everything right. Is the ML interesting? Flaws? Growth?
