i'll give it a try but man do I miss normal, soft and sunshine FLs, there's so much variety but it's always the same dynamic in every drama. haven't seen any in years :( and we really need to erase that strong FL tag, it's outdated like what even defines a strong FL? being rude, 4d etc?
Lots of people mourning for the exponentially higher lives lost with the pandemic=more healing dramas needed.…
Really? I actually would appreciate just some fun, bright or even messy drama (like Secret2013) with different ships dynamics again but her being kind and not the typical not like other girls female leads is enough for me
Man am I glad I didn’t like the romance and they failed at giving me a enemies to lovers bc that ending would've upset me. Plus the lack of everything, depth and growth for the ML, he was just another puppy ML following a "strong" FL. Had the same expression the whole show like don't get me wrong I love expressionless and even cold characters when they finally warm up, show really emotions and experience love for the first time it's peak. That could've been great character development but no, didn’t even look sad at the end.
Could've been the next Secret and Nice Guy for me but sadly it wasn't. Still a good rollercoaster.
They have lunch together every day, and she texts him on a regular basis. Other characters have even mentioned…
Congrats you missed the point. No one said anything about more romamce scenes it's about how u use them. I would've loved if we'd getting some deep conversations and connection btw them first. I love Good Doctor and it had slight romance.
The romance isn’t a huge plot point in this show which is way there’s a lack of scenes. However by episode…
I'm well aware y'all are repeating the same point but it doesn't change that it felt rushed. Look at Good Doctor where the romance was a sub-plot too and not the main focus. What matters is what we see on screen not a character mentioning these 2 are eating lunch together everyday. Counting the scenes on screen these 2 barley had a proper conversation together, neither a connection. Junho was literally in love by ep 2!!! EPISODE 2. We don't even know why he loves her. He just suddenly does.

I KNOW BUT WE DON'T SEE THAT ON SCREEEEEEEN so yes from the little scenes we see them in it's rushed. It'd like JK Rowling saying Dumbledore is gay, yeah, great and? We don't see that.
I am sure you have seen action movies, where the FL's entire identity is being ML's love interest and "weakness".…
I've seen many people complain about them. That's where the word Mary Sue comes from and that's wht there's been a drastic change in Kdrama over the years in regards to FL. It's not something we should aspire for our Male Leads to be called.
Why only him? Because he's the Male Lead, he shouldn't just be some puppy that uplifts the Female lead but a good and compelling character on his own. They need depth, growth, flaws etc- just as FL do.
On screen it developed quickly and we've seen non of that, just heard it from others.
One thing to note is the time frame - it's been more than a couple of months since WYW has joined the firm. And…
That doesn't change much even if it's over months. We barley see them have a proper conversations or connecting. By ep2 he is already in love with her and following like a puppy but we aren't seeing why he fell for her in the first. I know ppl call this standard and perfect but in my eyes the romance in lacking and it was kinda unnecessary. They should've been established characters first, get to know each other then fall in love
