Man am I glad I didn’t like the romance and they failed at giving me a enemies to lovers bc that ending would've upset me. Plus the lack of everything, depth and growth for the ML, he was just another puppy ML following a "strong" FL. Had the same expression the whole show like don't get me wrong I love expressionless and even cold characters when they finally warm up, show really emotions and experience love for the first time it's peak. That could've been great character development but no, didn’t even look sad at the end.
Could've been the next Secret and Nice Guy for me but sadly it wasn't. Still a good rollercoaster.

What matters is what we see on screen not a character mentioning these 2 are eating lunch together everyday. Counting the scenes on screen these 2 barley had a proper conversation together, neither a connection. Junho was literally in love by ep 2!!! EPISODE 2. We don't even know why he loves her. I've seen many people complain about them. That's where the word Mary Sue comes from and that's wht there's been a drastic change in Kdrama over the years in regards to FL. It's not something we should aspire for our Male Leads to be called.

The thing is her having/making friends, proper work already showcaes her desires and capability to have a normal life than any human being would want. The romance wasn't really needed and is just an addition (not to forget the drama itself isn't realistic to begin with sadly. It's a safe space). That's why it's slight romance to begin with and in my eyes, compared to most watchers, it could've worked but they rushed it (plus the ML is..)
The only 2 things I'm not sold are the romance and the Male Lead. It feels rushed, by episode 2 Junho already caught feelings and by episode 7, she wants him to touch her. There was no room for them to get to know each other properly or even hold deep conversations and he's barley even an established character himself. If we take the romance or Woo out of it who even is he? He only revolves around Woo.
Personally I think this drama could've done without the romance, it feels unnecessary or should've been a slowburn romance like Good Doctor where you saw them connect . This is strange coming from an avid Romance fan.
