Tho it is interesting to know that this movie was apparently inspired by a real story a few years back.

I guess for me it was unexpected because it's not really my genre. I only really gave it a try because Nam Ji Hyun is one of my favourite actresses

For whatever reasons I mostly can never finish any Korean historical dramas, there are only a few that I really liked. 100 Days my Prince, Faith, Moon Lovers and The Tale of Nokdu.

I find myself much more interested in Chinese historical dramas, maybe for the fantasy aspect. 10 Miles of Peach Blossom, The Romance of Tiger and Rose, The Eternal Love, The Story of Ming Lan, The Legend of Fu Yao, Ashes of Love, Love and Destiny.

I cannot express how much better this was compared to Something in the Rain.

I miss this. It was just so captivating. Had me on my toes, and kept my interested tho I only really watch romance dramas.

I mean there is definitely chemistry and maybe they were flirting a little bit and crushing on each other, but it's not a romance

the first few eps were difficult for me too because it's just the set up for the whole drama and I generally don't even like flashbacks that much. but once the drama (literally) starts I was so hooked. It was also one of my first long family dramas.

I also like Shin Se Kyung. TGWSS was my first drama with her and after that I was so surprised that people were bashing her so much for her acting when I actually think it's pretty good. I do believe that a lot of her roles are just very unlikable or frustrating, that's why her acting may come off weird to some. But I also really liked her in Rookie Historian

I really should've waited until this was done airing. sigh.
I just binged all 10 eps and now I have to wait 2 WEEKS for the next ep....
