A LITERALLY PERFECTION
This review is about Season 1 and not Season 2 Alchemy of the souls Season 1 is the best k drama of the year 2023 in my opinion such an amazing blend of fantasy and a pretty unique idea that was executed to perfection the only reason i gave 9.5 instead of 10 stars is because there are some tiny details i would love to change but all in all an amazing drama and an experience of a lifetime its a definite must watchWas this review helpful to you?
A very plain drama
THIS IS MY OPINIONI went into this drama because i saw the trailer on my for you page on an accident it barely had any promotion and if i hadn't come up by it on an accident i wouldn't known it had existed when i forst saw the trailer it looked good i love a very revenge filled drama. I watched the entire thìng in 3 hrs 2x speed and too be honest it was just fine i didn't understand why it was so faced paced in the beginning with her and him marrying each other almost immediately but i still continued to watch and i didn't really like it she was continuously being berated to everyone and she took it like a champ but after seeing the ending i understood why i really liked the plot twist in the ending although i feel it was too sudden and they just wanted to wrap things up. This drama is very good for a binge watch to watch and be done and forget u even watched it in the first place so if ur looking for something like that this i recommend but if ur looking for a very satisfying drama of the year this is NOT the one i guarantee u if u watched this by next month u will forget anything that happened

Overhyped
This platform has a tendency to overhype shows of mediocre viewings. This drama presents a unique storyline with the VR and mystery game concept but it's also not really important in the story,it setves no fundamental essential plotline and only serves as a backing to introduce our main couple. In all honesty i found myself enjoying the 2nd fl story more than this entire thing. Her divorce arc was generally the only thing that kept me entertained. We have seen this story multiple times boss and employee secret romance and the ml has a hidden secret . I could pinpoint 10 shows with this exact storyline all over so why is this one trendy?I have to admit they have nice good chemistry with good kissing scenes and a strong rapport but that wasn't enough to keep me interested at all.
This is just an average drama that casted 2 beautiful people the end.

Complete Rubbish
If we had contenders for Korean drams and movies that couldn't be accepted or remade today this would be at the top of the list. The fact it holds a 7.5 currently on mydramalist is very concerning. When i first watched this i was 15 years old i rated it a 10 out of 10, 4 years later when i actually developed and formed intellectual sense i change it to a 1 out of 10. The movies entire premise is a girl who gets into anrranged marriage with a 23 year old man at 16. Lol currently I'm 19 and i wouldn't even date a 16 year old not to talk of marriage no matter the scenario. This movies rating is the reason why we have laws banning child marriage because people see this and confuse it for a romance they think it's sweet but it's actually very concerning.Was this review helpful to you?
A NOD FOR TYLENOL
If your addicted to dramas with child like minded female leads then this is the drama for u bingo because u just hit ur markWhat kind i say the chemistry between the main leads was there they where a cute couple but the drama lacked any substance and the addition of the uncessary evil 2nd female lead was just stupid writing
The side couples stories where just misunderstandings that could have been wrapped into an episode but was chosen to drag on all in all not a bad drama just have a pain killer next to u while u watch because hearing the females leads voice(she sounds like a child)will definitely give u a headache

I don't know which is worst the fact that for the first 10 episodes i actually enjoyed this show or the fact it has a 7.4 RATING????? Have we lost the point so bad . This absolutely disturbing watch follows the fl who has been diagnosed with leukemia and needs a bone marrow transplant and the ml who is a rich ceo happens to be the perfect match they both find themselves in a contract marriage until the PLOT TWIST SHE NEVER HAD F o KING CANCER WHAT?????? He liked her and didn't know how to approach her so he hired doctors and a research facility to pretend that she had it the helllllllll and they still somehow end up together? How about flowers,how about perfume,how about a letter why cancer who wrote this drama who ordered ANOTHER season who is responsible for this atrocious writing they should all be investigated this isn't love this is demonic and sociopathic activity what is going on if i could give it 0 stars i would why would anyone in their right minds think that THIS is the standard for love pls ladies if u give this hire than 1 stars u need serious mental evaluationWas this review helpful to you?
An Okay watch
This drama has some parts that get u super hooked and some parts which are endlessly boring and dont make sense and leave u with more questions than answers aside from the first 2 episodes which where a total snooze fest the rest of the story is actually productive although they could do better with time and spacing all in all it's a nice drama to watchWas this review helpful to you?
The definition of Mid
This drama is the definition of mid it's not bad its easy to watch but u will definitely get bored once u watch it u forget u even layed eyes on it. INCREDIBLE
i went into this drama blind not expecting anything memorable i wasn't a fan of Park ji hoon i found his acting bland but this drama proved me wrong it was sensational words cannot even described how it suprised me i wanted to drop this in the first 10 minutes because u got very bored but thank God i didn't it the characters are complex but simple the plot is interesting and finally in a korean drama the MAIN CHARACTER doesn't tolerate rubbish this isn't your typical i don't want to get into a fight k drama his character is the definition of stick around and find the fuck outWas this review helpful to you?
Completely stupid
Will mever watch it willingly again. Leave it to Japan to come up with the most random shows for viewers. It's something you watch once then laugh in the future after watching it because of its ridiculous plot. The only thing i remember liking is the fact the female lead had enough of a backbone to leave him in the end.Was this review helpful to you?
An Underrated Gem
A unique k drama that cares about the plot and story making sense over asthetics and glamour. With the entire cast with good storylines and each character with a fundamental purpose to the plot. very good job.This is one of the shows you don't hear about in mainstream success but everyone who watches it will always praise it. Everything in this show makes sense which is rare for a k drama they actually take time to explain the purpose of each thing so u don't end up confused. The main couple have very good chemistry and look very good next to each other. Except for a few cringey scenes and a couple of uncessary moments it's a solid good k drama everyone should at least try.

Nothing to go crazy about
This entire drama was nice soft and simple but unfortunately that's not my style. For 20 episodes it was decent no dramatic emotional plotlines just a typical average drama,nothing bad but also nothing good. I personally didn't particularly like anything but at the same time didn't dislike anything It's just an average watch u don't remember after a few months.Also i didn't like the main couples chemistry it was a bit boring in my opinion. They had better chemistry off screen in the behind the scenes.

Really heartwarming
I rated it this low because they completely fked up in the last episode but from what i can see a season 2 was agreed thats why they did that for a set up.I really loved the background the republican era exciting and lovely i also loved the cast they all did a great job especially the female leads very rare to ses that kind of level of good acting in a chinese drama.
Even tho it's a censored GL they left us enough room to interpret what their relationship might be like which was good. And the story and murder mysteries were really played out well especially in the first half. Hopefully season 2 can give them more rooom for improvements.

Incredible
Very good drama with a sensible victorious responsible fenake lead who doesn't tolerate nonsense. She's rekiable quick ambitious and very headstrong she crumbled all her enemies and watched them drown and ended up victorious. CRIMINALLY UNDERATED
Very good zombie apocalypse drama with very healthy and very expressive main leads they both are very good at communicating and their chemistry is very good. In my opinion one of the best k drams with the potrayal of woman in existence. I like the way we see the leads fall in love and their friendship before the relationship. Also very good potrayal of a zombie apocalypse very similar to Other tv shows and movies but in an apartment complex setting.
