I’m conflicted about this series. It is not bad but :
- it painfully lacks experienced acting, especially when you treat a « raw » subject like that : here, it feels often a little too "staged", too « bland ».
- the purpose is unclear : they go to clubs, become drunk, have sex, use each other, are often in superficial-like interactions (as "friends" or as "lovers"), hide their existential crisis behind their addiction ? This is not new and has been done many times (and better I fear).
I hope, in the end, it’s to offer another perspective about the slice of life of a certain category of people.
PS : when I'm talking about a category of people I'm talking about a category of people who don’t seem really "poor", of course. After all they have time and money to have fun, go to bars and clubs. So it is not really related to your sexuality (whether you have same-sex relationships or not) in fact but more like a question of social position in this case...That’s why people generalizing this portrayal to a whole community are wrong...and seeing this as an accurate depiction...This is maybe your experience but this is not the experience of everyone.
It seems also to me that the director of the series is also quite aware of this matter of social position, if you see the difference in wealth between Ray and Sand, with underlying prostitution undertones, let’s face it, even if, elegantly, Sand refuses money in the end...This is what I call a naïve/embellished perspective. But if it’s too offer a naïve (and dishonest) perspective about this matter, what’s the fuss then ?
It's interesting how the two couples, the development in their relationships are mirroring each other too. Thaenthai and Charn sharing a traumatic background, the contradictions in their characters, their loneliness too...Maybe Thaenthai will bring his father down and helps Charn in the end ? It will be a powerful ending to the series. Since it means he would have been able to free himself from his abusive father.
The episode 6 is soooo entertaining ! And I'm surprised : kisses, backhug, implied sex scene and biting...I was wrong. I was not even expecting that for a serie broadcasted on tv lol Quite daring for a TV series. Also the range of emotions portrayed by Film in this episode ! What a good actor ! Their acting in this series anyways is really good in general !
Good series overall but I think this lacks a lot of subtlety in the screenplay. The most interesting aspect of the series is of course the folklore and lore about korean rituals.
Gosh I love the series and i wish it has more episodes ! Because i already know the last episodes will feel rushed. I hope the next episode will be more balanced. Or at least we need director cut. The acting is great and Film is impressive ! I just hope well’see those two main leads in another bl project.

maybe it's an instrumental theme made by Banana sound studio. But I don't see it in their youtube channel (https://www.youtube.com/@BananaSoundStudio). They've done music for other series too (Lovely writer, Theory of love, KinnPorsche, etc.). Or maybe I'm completely wrong.
I hope I'm wrong but since this is broadcasted on national tv, I'm not expecting "real" kisses and "real" intimacy scenes...They'll suggest and make it seem like an intense/sensual bromance, tease a lot at best. They are still quite conservative...
omg episode 2 is amazing ! great acting too (especially the actor playing Charn !) If I guess correctly (or maybe I'm completly wrong lol) what happens in Charn's past...this is really heartbreaking : he wanted to do the right thing, follows his sense of justice, but his morality leads to the death of someone dear to him (his mom), right ?

And the episode is great, as usual ! The ending scene is heartbreaking too. favorite BL right now, for sure.
