It's very rare that 12 epi dramas are not a messy rushjob 5 minute happy endings. I would say that kdramas are…
I don’t think the amount of episodes matters as much, we have such a wide variety of kdrama episode lengths these days from 8-16 and I still very rarely see where the writer utilizes the amount of episodes they have well from start to finish to tell the story. It’s an industry wide issue that has existed for many years and seems to be getting worse.
Surprisingly i'm really enjoying this... on episode 7 but it's been overall a good watch so far. I'm still watching The Glory atm so seeing Im Ji Yeon in this type of different role is nice. I really like how chill and normal both their younger brothers are...i actually thought they were going tobe a couple in their first scene together, they had chemistry i was not expecting at all lol. Good to see Kim Ji Hoon in more good guy roles, I think he realized he was getting typecast playing crazy or violent characters. I hope to see him in a variety of roles and hopefully a lead role again soon.
I was only a casual fan back in the day, but I can only imagine how big fans felt when the movie was cancelled…
I had already given up hope and was just numb when they announced it. I think the studio already knew it wasn’t going to happen and just seems cruel to keep fans hoping for so many uears
I dunno why the rating is so low, maybe because the first episodes were rather messy, or because ML actor is old,…
I don't understand why some of you can't compliment one show or work without putting another one down. It's not a COMPETITION. It's really not that hard if you try. We the viewers benefit the most because we can enjoy as much content as we want at once whatever it is.
I think the original Ogami, deep inside, is as fluffy as the second one and we'll get to see it maybe in the final…
Remember Kano basically told off OG Ogami very firmly and said he doesn’t need his help, I think Ogami backed off after that and became more cold and standoffish but he was still looking out for Kano and rooting for him to succeed.
I think both Ogami's truely, madly, earnestly love Akihito - they just care for him in different ways - two different…
Other Ogami likes him but he’s also supporting and honestly using Kano in a way that is beneficial to himself but not Kano. I don’t think Other Ogami is doing it consciously or trying to manipulate Kano or that’s not how I saw it anyway.
That's like 85% of dramas from any Kdrama era. It's clearly something writers don't care about fixing or else…
Back in the day, they’d start out strong, get kind of boring in the middle but end decently to even good. Nowadays majority of the time they either start out great and stay that way for the first 6-7 episodes then slowly go downhill till the end OR they start boring, stay boring and end that way.
I was literally yelling GO GET YOUR OGAMI!! when he was running back to the shrine. I loved him realizing that his Ogami actually liked him and valued him as a fellow salesman… Literally just finished CRASHING TF OUT bc of episode 4 of Heated Rivalry before watching this little gem, I needed their cuteness to even it all out haha
I literally want to scream, I’m SO FREAKING EXCITED FOR THIS!!! It looks so good from the trailer which I have watched like 50 times now. Ahh between this and Heated Rivalry, I’ll be in heaven.
I literally squealed about 3 or 4 times, episode 3 is my favorite so far. I really liked the reveal of why Kano was treated so differently in the alt universe and why Ogami was quite “cold” to him in the OG universe. He still likes Kano so much that even after being told off to leave him be professionally (I get this was his anxiety, low self esteem & pride talking) he still low key looks out for him. Also Ogami and that killer smile, gosh if I was that lady and he smiled at me and gave me his jacket, id be planning our wedding in my head the rest of the night 🤣 I thought it was interesting that they both were previously in long term relationships with women , that doesn’t dictate their sexualities of course and we know basically nothing else about their past dating histories or romantic/physical attractions. What matters most now is they are very clearly attracted to one another and like each other.
I’m excited to see the OG Kano and Ogami develop their relationship. I’m reallt liking this so far but goodness how I wish it was longer so these characters could get even more fleshed out. The more I learn about them, the more I want to know!
