Wow it really fell apart in the last 2-3 episodes jfc. I’ll just go read the webtoon. Kim Yoo Jung did an AMAZING job though, the decline of the show doesn’t take away from her performance at all. She killed it, hope she wins some awards!
Glad I just watched this on my own because I thought it looked interesting and didn’t read the comments here to influence that decision (I’m almost always grateful when I do this!). I thoroughly enjoyed the drama from start to finish and hope there’s a second season eventually. I loved the female lead’s style especially in the first few episodes.

I read your comment before I started watching and laughed at that scene because you are totally right. Kano on his own doesn't even look that short so seeing him next to Ogami in that distant shot, you aren't prepared for the height and size difference, it's really cute lol
it looks like he is drinking a chocolate drink, not coffee (Someone can correct me if i'm wrong)..he seems to eat/drink chocolates for comfort when he is anxious and of course Ogami noticed and gave him those chocolates in that flashback where Kano was working late in the office

I wasn't just talking about his face (Trust me, i'm not the type to start thinking someone has talent at a creative skill such as acting and singing because of their looks alone), I actually think he did a good job in his role in this drama and can only judge what i've seen of him here. He is a good looking guy of course but a bad actor can kill good writing which never crossed my mind watching him so I think he deserves a bit more credit there, just my opinion. Hopefully this stint in Dear X is proof of him getting better as an actor..he should be working hard to get better as an actor with the opportunities so many actors would kill for.
