Absolutely Beautiful…I’m literally in tears…my heart is so , so full 😭🥰☺️ I remember loving the manga so much and this live action brought it into life in such a beautiful, heartfelt way. There were certain themes that hit very close to home for me, my heart felt as heavy as our lovely leads sometimes and the way the drama portrays these difficult themes was just perfection to me. Writing and acting were top notch to me, absolutely brilliant casting on all fronts. Blessings to everyone that brought this gem to life ❤️
i wanted to ask to those who both read the manga and watched the series: which one did you like better?(p.s.:…
They are both wonderful, please watch, read and enjoy both. It doesn’t have to be a competition. The fact they both exist as good as they are is a blessing
I’ll be honest I don’t watch a whole lot of Korean movies so I haven’t seen much of Kang Dong Won but man I get the hype around him now. The man is fine from head to toe.
Good for him, he knew this was the opportunity of a lifetime that dropped in his lap and prepared very well for it to make an impactful impression. I’m usually neutral to these younger, pretty/flower boy actors but he has really good presence on screen and you are drawn to him while watching.
Same here. They started with great dynamics between the leads. They had the best opportunity to turn thier romance…
That’s ok also, it’s actually kind of refreshing for a kdrams like this. The real romance was the love of good food, that might have been the writer’s intention.
"People JoyWorks — an entertainment content platform operated by Global People magazine of People's Daily, the official newspaper of the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party — commented on the issue, sharply criticizing the Korean dramas for "smuggling private agendas."
Ah looks like they real originators of these controversies might have revealed themselves. And chronically online people that are easily manipulated whip themselves into a frenzy. Rage and anger on social media can be very useful these days.
rewatching again, such an absolute TREAT!!! I can't wait to rewatch over and over again, I love them both, one of my favorite (comfort) gay asian dramas.
Given the amount of money that clearly went into this 9 episodes might have been all they could afford to do.
Not really, alot of streaming shows these days from the US and europe have less than 10 episodes or less in a season. This show feels like it's more for international and western (especially US audiences) than korean audiences.
Two things can be true at the same time, the victim's allegations of bullying are true AND they want a payday. Neither negate the other. Let the courts (hopefully) handle it well. My heart goes out to all current and past victims of bullying.
You're REALLY awesome for doing this and for keeping the list updated, especially putting the name of the streaming service each drama is available on!! I don't have Netflix so this really helps, thank you!! 💝
I randomly came across this on Amazon Prime Video (ok it was Dean Fujioka's face that drew me lol, the man is so good looking) but this movie and the 2 seasons of the original show are currently on Amazon Prime in the US! I've actually been noticing ALOT of Japanese content on Amazon Prime US recently which is great. The first season of Doctor X and the recent 2024 Doctor X movie are on there also! Anyway can't wait to watch the 2 seasons of the show and then this movie, the premise reminds me of Liar Liar with Jim Carrey.

"Choi Il Hwa" what the flying f*** i never knew this actor's name but he always came across as such a warm and kind grandpa or dad in so many of his roles i saw him in, i feel like an idiot!! I go out of my to idolize ANY actor or celebs anymore but you still get sucked into the portrayal you see of them in their roles or the front they put up in public. This list is freaking shocking, I had to stop reading, it's too much...sickening
