On Drinking Solo May 22, 2023
I’ve been watching this dramas on and off for YEARS because of being so busy and while I’ve completely dropped so many other dramas, I have no problems picking this back up and enjoying it right away. It was a master stroke having the teachers and students’ stories (who made me laugh so much!), they balance each other out quite well. I have a few more episodes left but I’ve really enjoyed it very much And that’s saying a lot with an intentionally arrogant male lead. I’ll say it again, give dramas a try for yourself instead of relying only on ratings and comments. I’m not saying they are wrong or right, they are all opinions and you can form your own too if you’re interested in the drama. If I hadn’t started this before I found this site, I would have probably passed on it. Instead it’s a big of a much needed happy place for me now.

Title 18 Again
Oh wow, I skipped this while airing because I’m not the hugest fan of the plot after seeing the movie it was remade from (it just gives me some Heebie jeebies, imagine if the genders were reversed) but I’ll at least give it a try with the rave reviews.

Title Oasis
Is this any good?Is the ACTING good and not any cringe overacting??NUANCED emotions & not just yelling/crying…
you seem to have very specific ideas of what you want to watch, maybe watch and decide for yourself.

West: meke characters, black, gay, fat, ugly, or anything unattractive. Identity politics is done, now we can…
My god. Did you just rope bring black or gay as unattractive without realizing? What is this comment? This is what I’ve noticed and I know people like you personally. Some of you who twitch and complain at “identity politics” and “woke” media just don’t like seeing certain types of characters in the shows you watch. You are more comfortable with them staying out of sight and out of mind. There’s no nuance anymore, even if a character doesn’t revolve around a certain identity like you claim always happens, them just being there makes you uncomfortable and you get upset. You have that right and can switch the channel and other people have the right to respond to you.

I love this series. Stressbuster it is. Too bad its only 12 episodes. It deserves more. This is a gem.
It gets more episodes then y’all start complaining that it’s dragging, getting boring, etc like so many dramas in the past. if 12 episodes is what the writer feels is right to tell the story, it’s best to enjoy the characters and their story being told as needed. I’ve been watching kdramas for over a decade and have thought for over half of that time thst 90% of kdramas should be 10-12 episodes, *maybe* 14 max. I’m glad it’s becoming more of the norm these days. It also makes it easier to finish dramas without dropping!

Sorry but they didn't have to hurt my rom-com heart like this 😞🤚🏻i started this with so much excitement…
Should have just made it 10-12 episodes instead of padding the story with mystery and thriller plot lines

Ok, a few eps in and so far it's super enjoyable but seriously I need to rant because wtf the Netflix subs are…
I watched my first kdrama on Netflix over a decade ago, a few years later I jumped ship to Viki because of the terrible subs. They have always been bad and don’t see them getting much better

Remember, the divorce happens when everything between the two people is already over. In other words, the slate…
Yep and he’s in his mid to late
Thirties and probably always wanted a kid. I bet you $50 they were already talking about marriage and having kids when she got pregnant. When you date at that age, it’s always at the forefront especially for the woman because of the higher risks involved with pregnancy as we get older .

Personally, I don’t think you should force it. The free time you have is precious and life is short, if you aren’t into kdramas anymore in general then let them go and watch what you enjoy whether it’s Asian, Indian, Turkish, American, British shows or movies. I’ve felt like you do now on and off for the past 5-6 years with kdramas and I regularly take very extended breaks and come back for some time, get bored with them, take a break and the cycle is like that. I just let it happen as I feel because at the end of the day they are there to ENTERTAIN YOU in the little precious free time you have. Also there’s the choice of rewatching your favorite dramas or dramas you never watched from around the same time.

Death from Alzheimer's is such an awful way to go, I pray a cure is found for this terrible disease. May she RIP and my heart goes out to her loved ones, it is incredibly difficult disease for them to witness.
