Well well well... All roads lead back to Only Friends.
I'm so ready to fight with everyone in the comments again because my fave will be the most controversial character 💅🏻✨ Just kiddinggg guys I cannot wait for the mess and the chaos and the jealousy and the fuck fest 👉🏻👈🏻
I've been on the fence abt watching this series because I really don't like ForceBook, but I want to watch it cause of PerthSanta. Can anyone tell me how the episodes so far have played out regarding how much screentime characters get (like is it evenly distributed?), and whether I could skip big chunks just for PS and not miss out on much? Thanks in advance 🙏🏻
EP 11 was the real Joke cause that shit didn't make a lick of sense. The only light on the horizon was the HopeSave screentime 😩🙏🏻 honestly idc about anything else except them and grandma
i beg for y'all to take a breather, separate SandRay from KantBison, and give the series another try next week if you feel like it. or don't. point is, maybe you just don't like the ship dynamics, or you're not (yet) used to FirstKhao in wildly different roles than their previous series, but that doesn't mean their acting is bad? chill tf out. nobody's gonna force you to watch anymore of it I promise.
idk about you guys and I'm sure the opinions on this are very varied but I'm actually really happy with the age gap between Kant and Bison 😶 it's not often explicitly stated the ages of characters so I tend to assume in most series characters are around the same age, so it actually felt like a breath of fresh air.
First impressions of EP 1: I love the music. I love all four characters though I'm partial to FirstKhao. Fadel cracks me up with his deadpan expressions I love him. Dunk's acting has really improved which I'm super happy about. The only thing I didn't like as much actually was the sex scene? I felt like the buildup and tension could've been better, and I personally just don't like the way it was shot cinematography-wise. But maybe I've just been spoiled by FirstKhao in Only Friends 😔
This show having a higher rating than Not Me, I told Sunset About You, The Sign, Unknown, History Trapped....etc…
There are quite a few hardcore YinWar stans here, obviously, which is quite annoying when it feels as if I can't even voice my negative opinion, but dw I wholly agree with you. I'm especially a Jack hater, and I love HopeSave <3
Your opinion is crazy but ok. Have it. My opinion is that censoring my "negativity" is idiotic, so I won't. Sorry that you thought you could convince me to censor it cause I was never gonna lmfao
the comments that are like this show isn't realistic don't really understand why it isn't supposed to be😭 I…
Just because something has scenes, a setting or a plot that isn't "realistic", doesn't mean that you can't make the characters and the plot progression itself realistic. Character arcs work because any character in any circumstance can go through them and it can be written believably. The plot can always follow a logical cause-consequence sequence, and characters usually start with flaws they can fix over time. This series isn't not realistic because of the plot or the setting or the ring, but because the characters make nonsensical decisions and plot beats happen out of nowhere.
This is not an attack on Yin but on the character Jack. I was waiting since EP 1 for character development and we still ain't getting it. He's such a flat character it's crazy? The person who gets shit done, succeeds, fails, deals with consequences and has a whole ass reconciliation arc with his father is JOKE. JOKE makes mistakes and grows. And what has Jack done? That's right, it's in his name, JACKSHIT. He just goes along with other people, has barely a personality except for being extremely naive despite the years as a loanshark and being nice. He's been annoying me more and more for the past few episodes and now I'm truly over him. I want to love this series so bad and there are good MOMENTS, but that's it.
I agree. Unfortunately the show is more focused on 4 horsemen and their lifestyle than on romance and all. The…
Honestly yeah. This series was one of my most hyped but it's kinda been disappointing me. Some conceptual stuff and dynamics are interesting, like the loan shark and thief angle, I like the found family stuff, but the fake wedding and most of the Four Horsemen stuff is completely predictable if not unnecessary. I've really enjoyed Joke's heists. I don't actually think there's been a lot of romantic tension between Joke and Jack but I also know most ppl disagree with that. I just don't see it. YinWar have chemistry but I feel like Jack has been too dense up to this point to even justify his confession to Joke last EP... Like huh? When did he fall in love??
