Why generalize genres like that? Not every romance movie contains a SA or rape scene now, does it? Most BL nowadays also don't. So should I never watch a romcom like the Heart Killers because god forbid there's a chance I'm personally uncomfortable with one scene WHICH, by the way, doesn't affect you nor will it stop me from watching the series? Comparing fictional murder to what I perceive as sexual harassment isn't a valid comparison, because murder is for many people impersonal. But other things may not be as impersonal, it depends on what a person has gone through... And as I said, SA and similar depictions hit me harder than the average person. I don't know how much clearer I have to spell it out for you people.

Thank you, genuinely. There's plenty of questionable character dynamics or even series as a whole that I love, and exploring darker topics in fiction should be endorsed by everyone! The locker room scene simply felt wholly out of place and caught me super off guard, and I was uncomfortable with it. I was surprised to see nobody else mention it, hence I wondered in my original comment if anyone else felt the same way. That's all it was 😭

My one entire comment is being so misconstrued it's upsetting. I only voiced my own personal discomfort with one scene and asked whether there's anyone else that feels the same. SA and harassment hits very close to home and no, murder does not. I'm not the morality police. I'm a HUGE advocate of separating reality from fiction, but my comment had absolutely nothing to do with that. I was simply weirded out and uncomfortable and voiced that opinion. I did lash out at one person which I shouldn't have, and I've apologized to them.
I'm also sorry my personal discomfort caused such a moral panic in this comment section. Wasn't my intention in the slightest.

No. There's a difference between fictional murder and sexual harassment depicted as hot/won't be acknowledged as something bad.

Maybe... I was wondering the same at the time but I can't really get past it? Like I know the last scene of the episode showed Fadel is at least physically into Style to a degree but that doesn't mean that kissing was okay. I feel sorry kinda for JD fans because this feels like a disappointing first kiss for FadelStyle.

I don't mind Joong nor the Style-Fadel dynamic and really tried to like Style, but man, this scene has put me off so much. Even thinking back now it feels so strange and I hate it. I'm definitely biased towards FK, I adore all their scenes, but I am really REALLY trying to like Style/Dunk and it's frustrating!

Like I know Style is pursuing Fadel aggressively but he was pushed away twice and kept going each time? I was genuinely put off by this and kinda weirded out.

I like Mix in MC, but I've never seen another EarthMix show aside from MC. I need an OhmLeng redemption too after the disaster that is Kidnap, but I'm blaming the screenwriters/director for that one.
