when I tell you I love these tragic realistic bl which skorea is really good at smh but they also always make me feel sad and existential... does that mean I'm a masochist? 😐

Randomly I remember how much I'm looking forward to this show and I get excited all over again 😩

Absolutely adored this series. One of my favorites is actually the 2nd episode which not many seem to like as much 💔 but man, bangers from start to finish for different reasons. As a fanfic writer myself the first two episodes were especially fun given the fanfic-y settings.
My personal fave stories were EP 2, EP 5+6, and EP 7+8 ✨ but I loved watching all of them.
Even though the summary on the MDL page here is *kinda* misleading lol I think it was worth it! Please give this series a shot y'all it's very refreshing from the typical BL formula yet retains all its positives ❤️

AouBoom really do need to lead a series 😭 but at least we'll see them next year in Memoir of Rati!

AouBoom's storyline in Hidden Agenda as far as I remember (it's been a while and I only watched it once lol) showed a side to relationships that at least at the time I didn't see often in BL. Also I don't believe their story intertwines that much with JoongDunk's so skimming might do the job!

That's literally what I also said almost word for word in my original comment omg 😳 so I know exactly what you mean by that. Honestly the only best part abt Hidden Agenda was AouBoom and without them I would've dropped that series halfway through 🗿

I completely relate. I'm also a FirstKhao lover and tho I was a bit hesitant at first, I decided to give JoongDunk a second chance to impress me.
I def like KantBison more but they don't blow me away either, and I feel similarly confused. I like Fadel and Joong, it's really just Dunk that's bothering me and FadelStyle's current development and relationship progression.
Usually I'm pretty good at finding out what exactly bothers me about a series but my disappointment and current dislike puzzles me...

Nah that one is absolutely not up my alley 💀 I'm sick and tired of school settings lol. I'm not into solely milk toast fluff in BL also. I'm currently watching Love is a Poison and Miseinen and am loving both!

Yeah, I'm just mostly very frustrated with myself for not liking it as much as I want to! Spare Me Your Mercy and Perfect 10 Liners are on my list, but hadn't yet heard of Caged Again. Will add it, thanks for the suggestion ❤

🚨 disappointed opinion alert 🚨

I've been anticipating this series since it was announced as one of my possible faves of the year. Hidden Agenda had been extremely disappointing but I had faith that I could love JoongDunk. Towards the end of the first episode of this series I started to have my doubts cause I'm just not a fan of Style's character, which is subjective and I don't blame that on Dunk, but man. While his acting has improved, whenever he's on screen I feel like he's someone acting out a character INSTEAD OF *being* the character. It's hard to explain it a different way.

Disliking 1 of 2 couples has really done a number on how enthusiastic I am to watch this series, but maybe it'll fix itself with some time. I'll probably end up skimming through FadelStyle scenes.

I sometimes check this comment section because everyone loves everything about this series and I'm happy for you if that's the case, but I'm just leaving this comment here in case anyone else also feels disappointed. If you want to argue about my opinion, I won't reply. Don't let my disappointment take away from your enjoyment tho, that's not at all my intention :)

I have a personal vendetta against characters who cheat, so whoever does will gain my grudge lol I don't care much about messiness, lying, selfishness, entitlement etc.
Buttttt of course everyone should always remember it's just fiction 💅🏻✨ (I know many won't but ok)
