Very standard series. By the end of episode two we were literally counting the BL tropes as they came on screen. I actually really liked the side couple, Bank & P’Pitch.

I loved this movie. Hiroki and Sinji are such a great representation of a happy gay couple. As FrothyMix mentioned below, Keigo is really queenie, to the point of being annoying. My only real issue was the coupling of Tadashi and Keigo… two bottoms don’t make a top.

Nothing original, the actors are quite good but the story is nothing exceptional. I don't know about you, but…
...and after they remove the food from the side of the other one's mouth, they eat it! Gross.

If you are hesitating to watch this beautiful story because of "the event", don't. Watch it. Yes, Teh crossed a line he shouldn't have, but by the end of the story it's put into context and although it's tough to forgive him, at least we know why it happened. This is a more grown up version of Teh and Oh as they mature and face the adult world, adult situations and adult emotions. It's filmed just as beautifully as ITSAY, some of the shots are just breathtaking. I absolutely loved it and was bawling at the end...it was just amazing.

Um, yeah. So this isn’t BL at all, one of the male leads is straight. Gay romance tag should be removed. Other than that it’s just a complete disaster.

Tommy/Jimmy and KimCop were my favourite ones!
Oh for sure. The last two were the best.

Oh - they must have redone the subtitles - when it was running on LineTV they were close to incomprehensible.…
Hi there, will you please let me know where you were able to watch ThaiBLFan92's translation? I've checked their YouTube channel and website, but can't find this series. I'm dying to watch it...thank you!

@SwSw TOTALLY. No way I'm starting this while it's airing and dying from week to week. I'll binge it and do all of my crying at once.

This simple, low budget show is a true gem. It's SO funny, as many others have pointed out. The two leads have over the top chemistry, they act like an old married couple bickering all the time. Beneath all of the humor is a deep bond that is explored as the season progresses. Both actors do an amazing job of demonstrating this complex relationship despite working with zero budget. I just loved it.

I watch Filipino BL series because I want to support this growing segment of their entertainment industry. That said....holy crap was that a slog. I'll say they tried.

On Love Poison Season 2 May 17, 2021
I'm so glad this series came back for a second season. The plot is an absolute mess...and I loved every minute of it. Both couples have great chemistry, they kiss and show affection freely (hello GMMTV). I love the simple, rural atmosphere and to top it off the music is so catchy and fun. If they produced a new season every year I'd never miss a single episode.

Since you're read the book is the sister being an annoyance just for the drama since they turn it into a bromance…
She’s annoying in the book too.

This is my favorite movie, I've watched it at least 15 times and I see something new every time. I'm so glad to see that it's still getting comments so many years after its release. While parts of it are difficult, overall it's a miracle to watch Gi Woong discover his feelings and slowly accept them while reconciling with his father at the same time. One thing regarding the ending that no one has commented on or noticed: When the boys are at the marsh after swimming, Yong ju says, "When Mongolians like someone, they say 'let's go to the mountain together.'" This comment seems random, but it's not. In the very last scene when he's telling Gi woong about his new school, the location of it is...on a mountain. Then Gi woong begs him not to leave him alone. In my mind, the implication is once Gi woong deals with the repercussions of what he's done, he'll join Yong ju at the school for a fresh start. After everything that the boys go through during the film, I have to believe that they have a chance to be together. I would love thoughts on this.
