Sang Yang is the older brother of the FL of Hidden Love (Sang Zhi). And one of the best friends of Sang Yang is…
i think it's purposely made this way to keep Sang Zhi and DJX's story/dynamic simple so it does not take away the attention from Sany Yan and WYF's story.
Main character is 17 but acts like she’s 8. A lot of the “cute scenes” are just straight up not interesting…
Love could be a type of familial form caring. Which is what I see of his affection before the first snow fall. His actions doesn’t seem shady and he is respectful towards her. Being in love or the realization after is when he started chasing her.
I sure hope so…if China could ban guys looking too feminine…I sure hope they could something about the weight. It’s dangerously u n healthy to be that skinny!
that's the pressure of actors/actress...being 'slim' is part of the package. If she's taller, she would look ghauntly w/ that weight. Look at Zhuang Shuang in Love o2o...she was horribly skinny to the bones.
WOW Just WOW.... what century are you stuck in? Time to learn to stop the victim blaming and judgmental evaluation…
...but you were being quite judgmental towards this? from your post: 1. "She should focus on recovery, not going to public events" throw your 'advice' when no one asked for it... coulda, woulda, shoulda....easier said than done. 2. "Guess she can't live with the attention" your assumption as if you know her personally to 'judge' her. also in your own words, 'do you know her" 3. "How does she expect to find peace in public events?" Everyone finds their own peace in whatever works for them. You are not her, so why are you making the assumption of what peace is to her? 4. "Due to an inner fear of being perceived as not working hard enough by others, Zhao seldom took breaks." this is her sharing what she didn't do and should do...it's not like she's sharing it for people like you to 'judge' her or throw your worthless 2 cents at.
It's like only you could do the judging but not let other judge you. It's people like you with this type of reaction that makes celebrities cringe. You make it so easy for people to judge you...yoyou'ree just a horrible person with the lack of empathy from your post. Seriously, just take the L.
Depression, anxiety and/or mental illness is not easy to navigate on any level. it's even worst when you are a public figure. If you have not experience it, you know nothing about the struggles and what it takes to overcome this internal darkness.
FYI, i'm not a fan of Zhao Luxi. I enjoy her dramas but not a crazy fanatic.

i thought the first snow fall scene is when he fell for her.
he jokes and never takes thing serious when it comes to relationships. all the other times, he jokes around...to me it seem like he's putting up this front that he's a jokester when it comes to girls, etc. like a way to repel any crushes since he knows that he's not in any place (his family, background, debts etc) to like/afford a gf.
No! This is not Netflix production. Netflix just distributed this drama internationally. MangoTV is the one who…
i agree whole heartedly with your feedback and post. i really don't get the comparison with P&P, then being disappointed that it 'went astray' from the novel when it's nothing from or adapted from the novel. i'm glad i'm not the only one seeing this nonsense.
Chinese dynasties/societies has been around longer than the British. Just b/c Jane Austen's novels/themes are…
i read all of jane austen's novel and i do enjoy them. unfortunately for china, no female author is prohibited to 'write' novels and have it published. even so it doesn't mean, these dramas adapted from her books. like you say it yourself, it's not a pissing contest, why are YOU drawing comparisons and disappointing yourself?
I haven't started this yet, but it isn't strange that the mother wants her daughters to get married at any cost.…
Even in the Qing dynasty, the family dynamics didn't change. People still marry young when the Qing dynasty ended. back in the dynasty/societies...girls get betrothed at a young age of 12 or when they come of age (after they get their period) and marry at 14-16. they are lucky if they live pass 40 during that time period. once they passed
that age/primetime, their prospects are slim to none....they will really have to marry the old men or settled to concubines or remain unmarried. another option is to go into servitude (indentured servants) to support themselves. with the society of the time, the oldest get married first and in the order or their family seniority. having so many single unmarried maidens is a challenge for widows.
the madame have 5 daughters (4 unmarried) total and with little to no money to their names. it doesn't help that their are rumors about them being shrewds makes it hard to find a decent family to married. they had to leave their hometown to find better prospects.
In episode 6, 3rd sister explained why the 1st sister married young and became a widow young. the family obviously fallen on hard times to have to make this choice/sacrifice. she married a sickly well off person, not an old man...it is common for families to use 'happy' occasion (e.g. wedding) to offset or 'lift' a dire situation (sickness) and will pay a hefty bride price for it. no mother would marry their daughter off like that unless it's a desperate time. the girls were brought up close and obviously, in a family situation like this, the oldest have to make the sacrifice for the sake of the family.
this drama is no fairytale and it's not a modern courtship of romances. it depicts society during that time and the expectations it has on women.
I've read quite a few comments and the reviews for this show. Why is there so little mention that this is a Chinese…
Chinese dynasties/societies has been around longer than the British. Just b/c Jane Austen's novels/themes are more well known doesn't mean this drama is the 'chinese' version/adaption or 'loosely based on p&p. since it's not pride and prejudice, no need to compare/expect and disappoint yourself that this drama 'strayed' from the novel's plot.
the drama depicts men and women in society according to the song dynasty period. women's struggles and places in society (throughout all the dynasties) will always be unfair and a struggle when it comes to independence or even to make their own choice when it comes to the mater of the heart.
I love the sisters' bond in this drama. the widowed mother's challenges to run the household and raise the daughters.
The drama is about the battle of wits...and so far, it's light hearted, pretty funny/entertaining.
Not the same theme…FL have a second chance and using this to get back what is hers and make those who killed her paid. Not the filial daughter who went to war in place of her father. Her character is very well written on her journey.
Ummm…don’t have any expectations lol. Drama will never deliver the novel’s exact storyline and plot. They…
I don’t get it too…unless they are combining cheng Li Su and wingman in one. For these novels, I rather they break it into 2 seasons. Only love like the galaxy was a decent close adaption of the novel!
Just finished the novel. What a great story. Now my expectation for the drama becomes even higher. Please don't…
Ummm…don’t have any expectations lol. Drama will never deliver the novel’s exact storyline and plot. They already axed Lin Shuang He (ML bff and doctor) and he’s a major character in the novel!
At least that is how I see it unfolding.
