epilogue from the novel: which I hope it included in the drama...but mostly not.
Xiao Jue and He Yan have a daughter name Xiao Yao (sounds like the word carefree). Xiao Jue is more of a loving parent vs He Yan. Xiao Jue is more of the caretaker for their daughter, thus a very doting father. Since He Yan was brought up as a boy, she is sort of lost at how to be a mother/female role to her daughter. He Yan likes to tease/rough play with Xiao Yao, which Xiao Jue frowns at at times. It's sort of funny how the novel described their interactions.
Xiao Jue is very considerate towards He Yan since he knows of her previous life as He Yan that she didn't get a proper/carefree childhood and upbringing for a girl. So whatever Xiao Yao gets (e.g. a lantern, a brocade, snacks, sweets etc), Xiao Jue always make sure He Yan gets one too. This is Xiao Jue's way of making up for the lost childhood that He Yan was robbed of. He Yan is aware of it and tells Xiao Jue it's ok and that she's not bothered by it. Even so, Xiao Jue still continues to always provide the same type of snacks or gifts that a girl would get/come across growing up.
FL's second chance is about getting back what she earned, even if it meant starting from scratch. Revenge is part…
in the novel, the he family was exposed and everyone knows what the he family did. that is more important to her than being acknowledge as the second chance he yan.
i'm sad they gonna exclude the bff. Lin Xuang He (i think that's the bff's name)
Ohh and by the way!!!I saw some people got disappointed and dropped the novel because they had the wrong expectations…
FL's second chance is about getting back what she earned, even if it meant starting from scratch. Revenge is part of her goal but it did not consume her or the whole novel plot. Besides getting back what is hers, she also wants to see her previously family get what they deserved. It may not be death, but more like justice. Justice is her revenge.
Yeah, for the first photo, I reckon it's when she was buying Xiao Jue time and went on the arena. For the videos,…
besides restrictions, they add a lot of fluff to side characters or give too much screentime to annoying villains. like the legend of An Le. the novel was an amazing read but the drama was a major flop. even strong popular actors can't save it's demise. legend of an le wasted so much screen time on a small villain role. even though they don't have much censorship issues, it was still poorly adapted.

NEVER EVER expect the drama to cover the novel's details and plots. it will be hard to enjoy the drama if you have expectations of how the characters and plot will uncover. The Double is an example where the drama took out a lot of details and added unnecessary side stories to stupid villain characters.
I'm sorry but what's the deal with the second princess? Is she just putting a bully show as being used as a paw…
the drama gave too much importance to this princess villain. the princess is spoiled, cruel, arrogant and spoiled b/c she is the prince (her full brother from the same mother)'s sister and the grand consort's favorite and only daughter. due to her upbringing and spoilage, she fears no one but still in the name royalty title, she knows better than not offend or act out of line with the king. she's also not as nutty and sadistic in the novel to treat/humiliate SYR. She loves him in a selfish way but she loves him enough to not treat him like a slave.
due to censorship, they can't do anything supernatural. the real jiang li did died in the novel. JL committed suicide and XFF's soul took over her body. i rather the drama follow the novel's story line to give the fake JL a mysterious side. as for the rest, maybe to add more 'drama' to the storyline.
