Also, from the three of them, she was the only one that hadn't been deliberately abandoned before. Her mom died, it's not like she decided to leave. Involuntary, the boys did to her what their mom did to them and nobody can expect JJ to forgive them immediately. My heart breaks for the three of them because they never had a smooth ride but I am also so excited to see the journey of them getting back together.
Ziqiu's biological father is terrible. Poor kid just keeps getting kicked in the face! But I don't understand how he was never legally adopted. Isn't that a thing in China? Like if you have the consent of the bio mom?
I just started it and OH MY GOD this is precious. It's sad and happy and beautiful and the opening just became one of my favorite ever. Only starting episode 3 but right now I just love it.
Loved it! It was my first drama with an adult Kim Sae Ron and I loved her in it. I gotta check the original show now. I really hope they will make a second season even tho it rarely happens. The characters had great chemistry and teamwork and I couldn't help to ship a couple of them together.
Seo Ye Ji is my absolute ABSOLUTE favorite and I probably have had a big celebrity crush on Kim Soo Hyun since Dream High. I thought I would have made up my mind when it finally started airing, but I still don't know if I want to wait to have some episodes stack up or just go with the flow. Gotta channel my inner fan girl so she can finally decide.
I was quite excited about this one -gotta fill the Romance of Tiger and Rose void- but I have to agree with the majority, the FL is a dumb dumb that can't stay on her own two feet. She's annoying and weak but.... she's pretty and she would be sweet if she hadn't been cursed by the God of Clumsiness.
I'm starting episode 4 and I will give it a chance until the story really picks up and see from there.
She does say she had nothing but writing in the real world. And to be perfectly honest, she seems to have way more fun in her story so the fact she's not struggling and just trying to go with the flow doesn't really bother me. But I do understand what you mean!
I'm going to start the latest episode and I'm still a bit conflicted about what I feel about it. On the one hand,…
Although it's hard to like Lee Soo Hyuk's character in the present timeline, I really hope they get their happy ending they totally deserved in the past. As pitiful as Jang Ki Yong's character in the past was, he not only killed them but ruined their happiness. His character made me sad and weirdly understand his obsessive love but not enough to condone his behavior, his actions and his extremely creepy behavior. JSY and LSH totally deserve to find each other again and finally get married, imo. And that's basically why I am watching the drama.
I'm going to start the latest episode and I'm still a bit conflicted about what I feel about it. On the one hand, I am totally engrossed by the story and really want to see how it's going to be resolved. But on the other hand, not only it's a wee bit slow so far, the constant jumps from past to present are kind of confusing.
But I gotta say that it's one of the few roles that actually Jin Se Yeon and that she totally nails. Getting her out of these period dramas is a good thing in my opinion: not only she looks gorgeous but she doesn't feel out of place. I am really pleasantly surprised by her performance.
This drama is enjoyable but... boring. Outside of the funny scenes, I don't feel that invested in the story and…
I also have a lots of problem with the dramatic story line behind the fluff. I guess i'd like to enjoy a simple rom-com once in a while and just let go of all the family drama? It didn't make much sense to me and I probably would have liked it better if the coincidences weren't too many.
This drama is enjoyable but... boring. Outside of the funny scenes, I don't feel that invested in the story and I simply hate their clothes and PMY's hair. Seriously, I hate it and I spend every single episode just wondering how they made her so... bland. I wish she had the same wardrobe she had in What's wrong with Secretary Kim, the hair cut and not the overly white light that seems to follow her.
yup historically 4th prince becomes emperor. not sure what happened to 14th.
Historically, when 4th Prince became Emperor, 13th Prince basically became his closest ally and got elevated to Iron Cap. 14th Prince however was always seen as a threat to the throne and got put under house arrest until the Emperor's death.
Kangxi Emperor was the one to "imprison" 13th Prince for 10 years during the succession battle, if I remember correctly.
