Simple yet warm & fun. The team still get to bond and eat good food despite the homesickness. The feeling of dread being far from loved ones is frustrating and relatable in a way. I like the interview part when the daughter was able to contact her father.
I love this movie! It's heartwarming and fun at the same time. Pacing is good. The characters' interaction and dialogues are great, especially Shinju and her husband - it was short but wack xD and when the boy's granny caught them cooking in her kitchen, that scene was moving. 9.5/10
Not only the intense scenes but also the nothingness was strong. The bleak atmosphere and intimacy were set throughout that even though the characters won't say anything, you can still feel the emotional depth from the background and poetic passages on screen. Love the karaoke moment, it was the highlight to me. 8/10
I only watched 2 from the lineup so I'm kinda excited for this :p hope I can sneak 1-2 titles per day. Last yr I didn't even see the announcement, good thing now has more options and extended to 2 wks.

my recent fave and probably the best I watched last month was Present Perfect... I see you liked The Only One, I enjoyed it too.
If I recall, you & Musicveggies talked about it on feed. That's how I got it :)
