From Twitter "It sounds like Saint said to watch the end of the finale on the big screen because there's something special about it, particularly news about a season 2."
As they didn't see it I would they know ? another thing the actors themselves say the uncut is different from…
Well, anyone in Thailand (or overseas fans who have access) can open the TV on Ch3 and watch it. The spoilers on Twitter were from Thai fans, so some definitely watched the TV version while others decided to watch the screening today. Let's hope it's a happy ending because my heart hurts for PhayaTharn π₯Ή
More tragic?? Idk what they prepared but I prepared β¨Amnesiaβ¨If its not a happy ending , Idk what the sign…
"Idk what they prepared but I prepared β¨Amnesiaβ¨" you made my night ππ
As you said, we have had enough of tragic endings and we deserve our happy endings. I don't mind sad endings but in stories like this one, I prefer a happy one; it will be full of love, hope, relief, break the curse etc (even if a sad ending could also be fit here). But of course, I will accept what they decided to do with it; I shall hold my final judgement for tomorrow. Hoping for the best π
I shall wait for tomorrow and then give my rating and final review. I dunno why they would hold a cinema and online screening with so many fans and the cast joining, if the ending is pretty much the same as the TV version and/or not a happy one. Plus, the extra episode they recently filmed.
Dunno, it's best to not have our hopes up lol I do get why some fans prefer/like a sad/tragic conclusion based on their story and love, but still I want my happy ending with lots of hugs and kisses (and sexy time ahem) ππ
Just a note to myself and in general: a sad ending is not a bad one, BUT if you dislike it, then it is. Let's keep it civil here and respect each other!
Edit: some fans on Twitter are saying that the UNCUT version has a more tragic ending than the TV one... LMAO what did they prepare π’
This! I really have a problem with how Tharn reacted in the parking lot (and, as I said, not even apologising,…
I understand your concerns. To be honest, I do get Tharn's pov: imagine the guy you are in love with (even if you don't want to admit it) short cuts your way out with a friend and starts pulling you aside saying some weird stuff. Your friend, which you know since childhood, tries to protect you. You can't hear what they are saying but you see the violence from your new love interest, whom you have a weird connection with, to a long time friend who has been nothing but kind to you (in your face, because in the back...) To be honest, I would have reacted kinda similar; not be physically violent per se but at least I would be WTF and get out of there. By Tharn's pov, he protected his friend from assault, that's why he didn't apologize to Phaya and why Phaya was the one who apologized, although yes, Tharn should also stop and listen to Phaya but I think he doesn't want to anymore, because he is getting closer to him and this makes him afraid.
Tbh, I have no expectations for the ending although I have a strong feeling it's going to be a good one. Now, if they will be able to satisfy every fan, that's a different story.
It's really obvious you love the series, even if it's not perfect and I believe you have the right mindset!
To be honest, I have been gathering my thoughts the last 2 days about the new episode and how fans feel about it.
I get both sides, because both are correct: there can be fair criticism for the episode while also enjoying the story for what it is. That's why I have been liking comments from both sides, fans that give their thoughts, concerns and understanding of the situation our MLs are going through.
My opinion is that the episode felt short compared to the previous ones, Tharn's scene in the swimming pool could have some improvements about how he dismissed Phaya, the whole scene in the parking lot could also be altered a bit regarding Tharn's reaction and Dao's actress needs some workshops ASAP π (sorry girl...)
Of course, I also get why Tharn is having an internal war: he is in love with Phaya, but he doesn't want to admit it because he fears that Phaya will die if they became a couple; he fears to become happy again because, life, so far, has taught him that it takes people away from him. And let's not mention about the whole karma thing that ties them together, it's heavy. His walls are high and strong, even Yai can't jump over them. He can get lost in the moment eg. like when he saves Phaya in the previous episodes and kinda accepts his flirting, but in the next moment it's like he is waking up from a dream and berates himself for being carefree. This must be torture to his soul, I hope he can find the strength to be honest with himself.
Also, Phaya has such a fiery attitude and expects Tharn to react immediately to his words/actions, that's just not realistic yet. Phaya needs to accept that Chalothon has been close to Tharn for years, so accusing him so directly, it will look crazy, no matter what. Of course Tharn should put 2+2 together, giving the Abbot's warning but alas, I understand it's difficult to accept some things about the people close to you.
Anyways, next episode looks cool. I would like to see more of the mythology behind it but I shall wait for the right moment. I really love the series, even though it's not perfect β€οΈ
That's my thought process as well. Doctor is powerful but he is weak against Phaya. That shoulder touch burned…
Interesting π€ I was just reading a tweet that said about Garuda's older brother (I think?). To be honest, I know next to nothing about Asian mythology, so I learn online from wikipedia/twitter
From the few spoilers I have read so far:Naga clan are;- Tharn, green snake and Naga princess - Doctor, black…
We have to wait and see then. Going by teaser #2, Tharn's sister says to Phaya that whatever life it is, past or future, he and her sister will always find each other and even now he is in love with her (or him, aka Tharn). I wonder if only Tharn can change genders in the next life or it's the same for Phaya.
The crime plot of the story delivered. I liked that they questioned their role as police officers; not only about…
From the few spoilers I have read so far: Naga clan are; - Tharn, green snake and Naga princess - Doctor, black snake and King of Naga - old lady that turned into young lady in the restaurant scene of episode 4, gold snake and sister of Tharn
Phaya is the Garuda God
Tharn and Doctor were past lovers or something similar. But Tharn fell in love in Phaya and this angered the Doctor/their clan. Maybe something more happened because the karma he has, means he did something forbidden in loving Phaya (I read about their rivalry but still...)
Dunno how Tharn protecting Phaya while he is always in danger of losing his life plays a role, but guess we will find out soon.
Also, it looks like the Doctor remembers their past live/s and is trying to kill Phaya. I'm sure when Phaya knocked out the brother and then a green force surrounded him, that was the Doctor. And I'm sure it's him again during the priest scene in the temple.
What I'm curious about is Freen's character; from what I get, she is Tharn in the past live/s. Sometimes they show her, and sometimes Tharn dressed up as her (I imagine this is because this is a BL and they don't want to include any straight romance scenes of the MLs but maybe I'm wrong). Ok, so she is green but also black and luring Phaya to get drown? Confusing π€
I'm open to spoilers or DMs about this, I'm very interested
The crime plot of the story delivered. I liked that they questioned their role as police officers; not only about catching criminals, but what justice is. The system is flawed and it needs to change or there will be more victims like the siblings we had in this case. Ngl, I teared up at the video of the girl, it was really sad and the reality a lot of victims go through. Her brother's words are true and it was good that our team got to understand that they can't save everyone, no matter how much they want to . There is a very heavy responsibility on their shoulders.
On to the romance plot: as much as I love Phaya, he has some anger management issues... I get that his dreams is very a sensitive subject to him but this is no way to react towards Tharn (even if he feels betrayed by him). I'm glad he apologized and hope he won't react the same way again because I believe that's what our Doctor wants π«£ him daydreaming, while crushed me lmao, it was very cute and of course realistic that they wouldn't move so forward with their feelings. Tharn is so loveable... His protective nature towards Phaya, his eyes in the locker scene, the way he hugged Phaya so tight in his sleep π (fangirl squeele)
Annndddd the anticipated mythology backstory next episode!! Finally, I love the fated lovers with a forbidden romance troupe. The CGI at the end was very good, one of the best I have seen. Saturday can't come soon enough β€οΈ
Just caught the latest βThe Signβ episode, and itβs quite the rollercoaster! The whole vigilante angle?…
I do understand though why they became emotional.
It's their first case after their graduation and it's not an easy one. They don't have to do with theft or terrorism, something more grounded that you can accept the facts and not really question why, but a social issue like rape and suicide which turns people into vigilantes.
Their whole authority and ethics were called out this episode. They are not experienced police officers but rookies. It will take them a while to build a good mental front like their leader. At the end, they are humans and are allowed to feel this kind of way as long as it doesn't doesn't affect them very much.
To be honest I liked that they questioned the whole thing and saw the pov of the girl's brother. They don't really agree but the reality of his words apply to every government out there. If they were cold-facts police officers from the get go, I would be concerned π
Finally watched the episodes... I haven't been excited for a BL in a long time, I have a good feeling about this.
I really like how they make all these different genres (crime, mythology, culture, romance etc.) work so well together. Not to mention that episode 3 didn't feel long, no scene was wasted. It needs some really professional people working behind to achieve this result, so bravo!! Fingers crossed it will continue like this.
Also, the MLs chemistry is amazing. They look very good together and I don't mean this in appearance only but mostly about their body language; you can see their emotions breathe through their body, like they finally become alive next to each other.
All in all, I'm really happy I decided to watch this. I found it by chance when I was searching MDL about any new BL series. I watched "I cannot reach you" before this and it felt cozy, like a sweet, spring breeze; this feels like a wave crushing on you; a thunder on a summer night.
