Title The Glory Spoiler
This incident didn't just happen, but I keep thinking about it.Was Dong Eun the one who sent her old teacher that…
Dong Eun told the teacher's son what his father did to her in highschool and threatened to write it on an online board that all SK teachers are part of and it's apparently under the government, which would pretty much ruin the family's reputation since the father was awarded something big in the past and the son still has the interview for the evaluation to become a School Inspector. So, as the son said "rumors become your reputation, and your reputation becomes rumors", he decided to kill his father, so that his career and life wouldn't get destroyed (remember that his wife was about to give birth and was praying daily for him to get the promotion). Dong Eun pretty much blackmailed him to do it but he didn't seem sad about it lmao

I also noticed more details eg all 4 main female characters have the green shoes (dunno if Sa Ra also bought them but she painted them), that Do Young was building the Go Park before he met Dong Eun (because I read some comments online he did it for her), Yeon Jin has been cheating on Do Young since 2010 and the girl in the restaurant with the bag (as a user below commented).

The OP also shows hints when each actor name comes up; teenage Dong Eun with name for SHK, snowflake for LDH, iron curlers for Im Ji Yeon, lollipop for Park Sung Hoon.

After rewatching, I came to appreciate Yeo Jung more as a character and his relationship with Dong Eun while the chemistry between Dong Eun and Do Young, that I liked in the first watch, felt flat now. I don't like love triangles and I hope this doesn't turn into one... I just wanna see how this will end given the theme of the story and the writer's track record.

I don’t want Do Eun to end up with Do Young. And I don’t think that’s something she plans on doing either.…
I think it's pretty obvious that MDE won't end up with Do Young. It's the tension and chemistry that fans love: MDE "seducing" him through an intellectual game to use against Yeo Jin, while he is intrigued by her intelligence and mystery, since he is a logical person that loves challenges (Go game, CEO).

I think we should be careful of him. Don't forget Hye Jeong's words about Do Young + the tiny bits here and there, that point towards a cold, calculating and selfish person ( I have a feeling he will f*** up both MDE and Yeo Jin)

Why is it sad? Dramas should have all kind of genres for different tastes. Not all of us are gonna like melodrama, romance, love triangles and comedies. Some fans, like me, prefer thrillers, psychological, mystery etc., aka more dark or primitive as you said. Nothing bad with either taste, so we should let people enjoy what they like most.

It's concerning the burns that the psychopaths inflicted on MDE: We see that first they burned her arms and later on, when they trespassed her home, they most likely burned her legs due to PYJ commenting about her legs, kicking the iron towards her, the screams and the snow scene on the rooftop. So in a later episode, when they show a flashback of MDE trying to leave the gym with burned marks on her legs; does that mean they put the iron curler on top of the already marks or it was a mistake by the script?

It's not easy for me to talk about this but I just wanted to know what others think, since it makes them all the more cruel to do that to her again...

Tbh, I had expectations for this due to the trailer (which I lately tend to keep them low, since I have been letdown a few times), so I am really glad to say that the series has exceeded them (so far).

I haven't seen SHK in a drama before, although I read the fans' reactions about her casting when the news came out and during the trailer. Hence, I really liked her in this one and since I have nothing else to compare her to, I will just go ahead and say that she is a good actress and keep in mind that many times the director can bring up or down an actor; their potential and talent.

Next, is Kim Eun Sook, the screenwriter. I have completed Goblin (which I found OK) and dropped "Mr. Sunshine" (because it was boring, sorry), so it's really nice to see how good she is writing a psychological thriller and maybe she should keep writing this genre. I hope the second part is as good or even better than the first one.

Ahn Gil Ho (director), 'nough said!

9/10, can't wait for part 2 in March :)

P.S.: I have a question below but since I don't wanna spoil, I will put it under a spoiler tag and tw: violence.

I enjoyed the drama although the ending was rushed and I didn't like how a certain character was treated. Also, I am of the opinion that the FL was careless at times and that made me angry at her lol. Nonetheless, still a good watch, 8/10.

A very good drama. It was balanced with good storyline, direction and acting. Everything came together at the end and it was enjoyable to watch from start to finish, including the cut-edging scenes and plots!

Kim Hye Soo was amazing as the Queen: a great character that was compassionate, strong and caring, something that is missing from many humans and fictional creations these days. I loved watching her running around the palace and be so involved in things. I am glad I decided to watch this even though I had my reservations at first. 9/10 :)

I would say that this is a rather complicated topic. People should be held responsible for their actions. But…
It's not all that complicated. Bullies should be held accountable, even after many years have passed. Just because you are not a child/teen anymore, it shouldn't excuse your horrible and violent actions towards your peers in the past. The victims, most of the time, go through psychological and physical suffering just because the bully wanted to. Being an underage person shouldn't give you the right to get away with it. Most of them never change: they just change how they approach their victims in adulthood. And most celebrities only apologize once their victims go public with their torture, almost never before, in private. If they really have changed as adults, then they should own up to it, apologize and try to help their victims (if the victims want to) or prevent future events by joining anti-bullying organizations etc. The parents and school are also responsible about them. You have to take into account that the victims have to suffer for maybe even years due to bullying that happened when they were 15 but the bully never does and goes on with their life. Laws about underage people have to change: these kids have even killed fellow classmates. It's insane.

Did something happen? I tried to find it on Twitter but it's full of the usual fanservice that BL actors do, so…
The fanservice scheme is killing BL actors. A moderate amount is fine, not a fan of it but I understand it helps them financially, so going to this level or even worse, eg as what happened with the actors of Tharntype, is ultimately problematic and... gross. I don't doubt that Zee likes Nunew in his own way but yeah... I wish that fan service simple ceased to exist or at least, do not let the actors say or do unreasonable stuff for money. Dunno how some fans eat this sh*t up...

The trailer was amazing. It looks like we won't have to worry about the production at least. Very promising, I hope it delivers because the expectations are high.

The last 2 episode were not that good. Dunno if I will continue it. I'm fine with toxic and manipulative characters in romantic relationships, although it depends on the level and how it's portrayed it, as well as I'm fan of age gaps, so I think what bothers me is the execution and the obvious issues of communication that could have been solved if they sat down and talked. Of course then, we wouldn't have a story but there are ways to portray relationship problems that don't assume that we viewers/fans are stupid. The premise is nice and I assume lots of us like the "arranged marriage" troupe but as usual, you need someone that can write around it.

I really liked this one! As others have said, it reminds me of "Mindhunter". I am always up for the slow, steady process of crimes series, especially ones that rely heavy on psychology. It didn't really give me many thrills, like other crime series, but I enjoyed it for what it was and they delivered. I understand where the criticism comes from as well, although that's up to personal taste. It's a 9/10 for me and I hope there is a second season.

P.S: The top reviews are a disgrace. Mods should act on the bot accounts.

Pretty good so far and I didn't expect that. It's full of cliches but very entertaining, which is what I want now. I'm glad to see Zee in the small screen again (here and "Remember 15") as he is one of my fav Thai actors. New is doing great for a rookie. As the rest of you, I'm confused about the second couple and I don't like it so far, it looks abusive, but I shall wait to see more of it and I'm open to change my opinion when their story unfolds.
