Guys, here's the full translation of Akaso's interview from today. Bless this translator's soul!https://kinounaniresource.tumblr.com/post/635848478442029056/akaso-eiji-interview
Thank you! Oh, some heavy stuff there indeed. Glad he is in a better place now but yeah, being an actor is not a very stable job and worries will surface, so I hope he can continue to work hard towards his career :)
"When I first got the offer, my manager told me the role is a 30-year-old virgin in a bl who can use magic. Hearing just that did made me wonder what on earth is going on." All of us reacted like that, don't worry haha

Thank you!
Fujisaki-san is going to be more involved with them starting this episode? Omg I am so happy ;AAA;
And yes, I noticed that "Omae" during Kurosawa's confession. At first I was ? but didn't really think about it. He did change from "ore" to "boku" when talking to Urabe in episode 2 but I got why he did that.
I didn't watch the live since I don't use IG but I caught some comments from JPN fans on twitter (until the moment I had to do other stuff): - Machida's mosaic face the most handsome in the world (due to the bad internet connection at first) - Good/refreshing to see this senior/junior relationship (Akaso talks very politely towards Machida) - Akaso is very beautiful/Machida so handsome - They are both dressed in black and look great!
And some other comments how others were just finished work and could watch the live; multitasking while watching; trying not to smile much because they are with family etc.
And from the screenshots I saw, 30k+ people joined the live! Happy for them :)
It seems both of them have become good friends. And it's so refreshing that Akaso spoke out his real thoughts…
Yes, I am also glad that working on this series can make the staff who are not aware of LGBTQ+ issues think of them more and understand the lives of people different than them. Although, I also take his comment as "I separate romance and friendship", which is something I do too, nevertheless as long as it makes people respect others, especially minorities who have to face more issues in their society about who they are and their love affairs, I am fine with it. Love is love!
"There is no confusion about love between men, "loving people changes nothing in the end". I originally thought that there was no romance as an extension of friendship, regardless of gender. However, by touching Kurosawa's kindness, various emotions are born and accumulated in Adachi, and when I notice it, I like it. I wondered if love and friendship are separate axes."
"When I found it difficult to do so (scenes), I consulted him on some issues and we resolved them together. I talk a lot (Keita) beyond acting, I have a lot in common with Machida-san. Favorite songs, lessons, home environment, matcha lovers... (laughs). I want us to go out to dinner together when it's calm (situation the covid)".
From the photos of the next week I guess there will not be a lot of scene of them together and more of the second…
Tbh, I don't mind because I feel that Tsuge/Minato doesn't have a lot of development as the 2nd couple and Tsuge's actions are kinda weird/creepy, so I think giving them some focus now will solve this uneasiness and also give Kurosawa/Adachi more room for the later episodes as we are approaching the end.
Also, I like how the 2nd couple is handled here. Most of the time, we see in Thai BL that it overshadows the main one when it's not supposed to happen (I think?) so this focus is more "healthy" in a way. Dunno, but I don't mind it so far and I think it also balances the heavy/angst moments of Kurosawa/Adachi with their silliness.
I lost track after that "soretomo?". Both me and Adachi went ".exe has stopped working" lmao
Yup, that's what I think too. He will tease more now and in general be open with his feelings but if Adachi flirts/teases back he will lose it. I can't wait to see it owo
I understand Karleen's fears and insecurities, it seems that she has trauma but this is still no excuse to play with Pearl's feelings or be biphobic. It's something she needs to work on with herself because if she still wants to hold onto those excuses of why she doesn't want to date bi/pan women, then it's better to let Pearl go. If they end up in a relationship, but they break up and Pearl gets with a guy later, what then?
I liked that Pearl was honest with Alex and didn't use her to get back at Karleen. It was my biggest fear lol I also understand if Alex is giving red flags to some viewers because she seems "perfect" or too blunt with her feelings, but so far she hasn't caused any problem to Pearl or at least I didn't see any words/actions that could make me go "hmm this doesn't feel right".
We are also getting 3 more episodes to flesh this out. Good because 5 were not enough the way it was going.
It's ok! I get where you are coming from. I used to be like this years ago but as time passes it's easier to make…
I have although I am on the side of mixed feelings. I think the premise was interesting but I had trouble believing the ML would do all those things. He was too much of a p****y for all that serious stuff and I enjoyed the FL a lot more.

I finished it a few months ago. I love Korean crime, psychological dramas so I decided to give it a chance because of the very unusual plot. Didn't regret it one bit but yes, a lot of scenes are disturbing. And yes, the dad gets even more annoying later on so prepare yourself...
