Welcome again! Enough time to rewatch all the episodes again then xD
That would be a great idea! We could use an app to gather and watch the episodes, eg. TwoSeven, which also allows chat. But also need to figure out the time because I am sure we are all from different parts of the world.

I think it was a fine first episode. Something is off and I am not sure if it's the direction or editing or script or a mix of everything. I didn't feel the MG chemistry as much as in S1 but maybe in the next episodes.

I do agree with other users who said that being in such a long term relationship, doesn't mean your character will change. You can be more mature or responsible, make compromises, but parts that make "you" are still there, eg Type being violent.

And yes, I don't like the "wife" thing either. I get it's something they as a couple are fine with it but it makes me cringe. The period comment made me groan, seriously stop with the misogyny.

Episode 3 was amazing! Dancing around each other with their feelings, admitting them and acting on them was an experience to see.

I loved how they used the 5 human senses to get across the message: eyes, smell, taste, touch, ears. Their sensual and intense magnetism exploded on the screen and I was holding my breath in some key scenes. The moments of jealousy and silliness of new-found love as well as the rejection at the end, were all very real.

I am not sure if this has been a theme since the first episode, but I noticed in this one that Teh is symbolized with blue while Oh-aew with red. The primary cold and warm colors, which are the opposite of the personalities: Teh is more of an extrovert and passionate person while Oh-aew, an introvert and doesn't say much.

I have a feeling we are going to get a bitter-sweet ending. I won't mind as long as it stays true to the characters and the story. So far, this has been a great series and it deserves the recognition it's getting. 2 more episodes people!

Confident Adachi is everything! I love his awkward and clumsy side, but god when he needs to, he can take those confident steps and I turn into a jelly. I was surprised by Rokkaku's intuition, props to him and I like how nice he is to Adachi (one new friend in the list haha).

But what really made my heart go doki-doki is Adachi realizing that Kurosawa's genuine and considerate feelings of love are indeed touching him and that creates a change withing him, a positive change! Yes, without the mind-reading power it might have been impossible for Adachi to develop further as a person but as much as this power can help him support those around him, someone's love and care can turn around your world. Kurosawa's feelings are reaching him and Adachi is responding back. At the end of the episode he starts realizing what is that feeling inside him but he needs a final push to confirm and accept it.

The funny moments with Tsuge and Adachi's "nightmare" were great. Next episode, Kurosawa is literally living his dream but also reaches a "breaking-point" in his feelings.

I recently read the manga of this and it's pretty good. I am sure they will cut down the heavy BL parts, which are not really NSFW in the manga but very suggestive, so I hope they at least keep their relationship the same (and tbh I would rather have this as a series than a movie but oh well).

Also, excited to see Tachi as an actress; I have been a fan of hers since she was in Keyakizaka46 so I hope everything goes well.

What are you guys' favourite scenes? Mine is footages of super cute Adachi in Kurosawa's head.
I have a lot:
- Adachi hearing Kurosawa's romantic thoughts about him on the elevator
- The scarf scene; Kurosawa's noticing all those details about Adachi and Adachi almost crying and apologizing
- When they were talking Ragna Crimson; they have things in common that they are passionate about outside their work
- The ending of episode 2; from Kurosawa's thoughts about being fine just being a colleague to Adachi running and opening those elevator doors
- The forehead kiss scene; Kurosawa so sincere with his apology because he doesn't want to force Adachi and I love forehead kisses uwu
- The rooftop scene; LEGENDARY
- When Kurosawa said "Are you finished with your call?" and had the confidence to step up again and continue, HOLY SH*T
- Virgin_wizards_headbaging. gif
- All the scenes with Fujisaki; she is so sweet and considerate, I love what the writers did with her character. Very relatable.
- Kurosawa saving Adachi; the knight in suit and tie saving Adachi but it was that moment we first saw why Adachi is so scared. His low self confidence and insecurities make him feel lower than Kurosawa, who he perceives as perfect.
- The whole ending of episode 3; from Kurosawa attending to Adachi's wound to Adachi finally having some confidence to step up and save his man!

I think I've seen those.. 2 pictures, 1 of Adachi and 1 of Kurosawa right? They didn't spoil anything though,…
No, these are super new ones. Someone posted them on weibo and it's from a weekly magazine. But yes, Japan is super strict about copyright. And Japanese fans of their media also follow their rules very close.

Edit: OP deleted the images but you can still find them on twitter or weibo. They are from episode 5. There is a Japanese fan asking for the pics to be taken down due to copyright from the magazine. I understand their concern but I watch it illegaly already so... not to mention me seeing the pics won't take away from their profits but that's a big discussion.

The actors for Cherry magic have done photo-shoots and interviews including Instagram live chat collabs. Which…
Yes, I think the main flaw is the streaming platform as you said. Thai, Filipino and Taiwan BL series can post their episodes on youtube with ENG subtitles. What an easy, accessible and free-of-charge way to enjoy your series regardless of where you live (most of the time ahemChinaahem)

Ahh, thank you! Tbh I would be interested to write one, since I am still fresh from my MA thesis, but sadly the rules here forbid BL/Yaoi topics to be written. I called them out on it in the thread about article topics, since I wanted to write about the second couple "syndrome" in BL stories, but none has replied back yet.

Yup! I visit the tag on twitter and some fans who know Japanese do tweet about their interviews, photoshoots, live-chats, etc.. Of course the promo for the series is minimal compared to what Thai BLs do for example, but as I said, I prefer this kind of thing over too much stuff.

And yes, it is very fascinating to see their marketing approach. If I was a marketing/ent. business major, I would love to do a research on the topic.

Hypothetically speaking, if there is no kissing scene (on the lips) at all in the entire drama, would you guys…
It depends on the execution of the story and chemistry between the actors.

I get both sides: the first one is that, the story is wholesome, cute and generally has a nice feeling to it. Sometimes, you don't require even a kiss, because the writing, direction and chemistry of the actors can make up for the kiss or any skinship.

At the same time, I go into romance stories expecting something, usually a physical evidence of their feelings. I wouldn't be mad if we do not get a kiss, but at the same time with all the tension between them, it would be a shame to not at least have a hug.

And maybe this is going off topic, but showing healthy, physical intimacy of gay people is important. A lot of homophobes say "I don't mind them as long as I don't see it" and having series portraying gay people but not touching at all, makes me question a lot of stuff.

So, I wouldn't be mad if we don't get a kiss. Maybe a bit disappointed but that's it. I have seen BLs in which the actors have to kiss and look like they wanna die instead or the chemistry is more of friendship/bromance which made me lose interest. You don't get to play in a LGBTQ+ role and think of it as "testing your acting limits because you have to kiss a guy". Go out there and make me believe you are in love with that man!
