I think the biggest disappointment with this show is the lack of chemistry between the leads, but the lack of character development or growth during their time apart didn't help either. They have a conversation when they reunite four years later that they could have had immediately after Woohyun talks to Mr. Nam for the last time. Before Doha had even left for Germany he realized what he wanted to say. I know it doesn't feed into the fantasy, but I always like when we get to see characters during time apart with other people, or we come to understand they've had other relationships that haven't worked out, which makes the "everlasting love" feel more earned/genuine. Overall it was a solid show, but is also kind of forgettable.

Dreamy is a great way to describe it, it had a very unique vibe.

I know exactly what you mean and I felt the same way. I just finished this series and I can tell you that they ease up on that OST pretty quickly and only bring it back much later in pivotal moments, in a satisfying way.

The editing in this short series was so intense, it felt like watching a recap of a full-length show. I wish the episodes were longer, I enjoyed the characters.

I've never seen a more visually stunning drama. The costumes are so detailed and so beautiful. Everyone's hair is so impeccable, and I love the styling. Really blown away by this series so far!

The scene in Ep 21 where Ao Yin is transforming back and forth behind the screen at the brothel to appeal to the character that is chasing her was really great. Very cool visual that I will remember for a long time.

I think the other doctor might be played by Bhumphathai Powthai (IG: poompathai_1), whose only other credit I could find is "Once in Memory: Let Me Be Yours". In Sangmin Dinneaw I think he kind of looks like Tul Pakorn.

I'm really enjoying this series so far! Emi & Bonnie's chemistry is on fire and I am loving View's character too. The way she is styled is so great, she looks so good.

Although there was no need for the late introduction of a 4th couple, I was surprised and happy to see Rossi on my screen again. I really enjoyed his performance in On Cloud Nine (the less said about Love Syndrome III, the better). I'd love to see him in something with a budget AND coherent story.

I think this show would maybe benefit from a binge watch, rather than weekly viewing, because it is such a slow burn. I think the sweet moments wouldn't get lost week to week, and you'd notice these moments building in a more satisfying way.

I agree with you 100%. Something never connected for me with this show and I was disappointed because I really wanted to like it more than I did. The chemistry was really missing between the two leads, which was disappointing because they had great chemistry in "Show Me Love" & "Love Bully".

It's like you read my mind and put it into words! Totally agree on all points. Pond and Earth are both such incredible actors, this felt like such a wasted opportunity. I'd really love to see Earth play a character that is more in line with his personal style/persona, not just another bowl-cut kid in a school uniform. Thank god for Johan & North, or else this would have been unwatchable. You had me cracking up with this:

Agreed, it would really help keep things tidy! At this point I've got my own rating for each volume, and I take the average of these to use for my overall rating.

This was definitely more fun than I was expecting! It was surprisingly compelling, the mystery was genuinely interesting to me. I found I enjoyed it even more than Dead Friend Forever. Don't be put off by the lower production quality. The location shooting they did was quite nice, and the performances really sold the story. If you don't take it too seriously, it was a great bit of trashy fun.

I thought they did a really great job dressing the boys in drag for the dance sequence. They all looked really beautiful, and I loved the hair styling they chose for Dinneaw.

I agree with you regarding Pop & Tor! Pop has been so understanding, I hope Tor come to his senses because Pop is reaching his limit. It's hurting him too much to watch Tor pine for Dinneaw.
