Did I understand the ending correctly? Arm was the one responsible for the death of Ryu's loved one, Ryu found out, lost his memory, and then he and Arm get to live happily ever after? This show was such a mess.

I think the cinematography has very similar vibes to Call Me By Your Name, the way it captures the summer so beautifully, so vibrant. But there was a particular scene involving the sunrise that suddenly felt very much like ITSAY to me. Either way, it was absolutely beautiful and very atmospheric.

I feel bad to say it, but always have such a hard time connecting with any of Marc's characters, and I've seen him in so many shows (10 according to my list). Something always feels a bit off or not quite right. Especially paired next to Poon who is basically a charming cartoon character, I just felt like Marc could never match the energy.

I agree! If you had asked me around Ep6 this show was 10/10 but now it's a struggle for me to watch. I don't really understand what happened but I want to be liking it more than I actually am. I think Pam and Dorak's relationship is starting to feel one note? And I really wanted Oat & Nene to ramp up but that's slowed down as well.

I was really surprised that they did a cut-away/camera angle kiss... hoping this means we'll start with a good kiss at the beginning of Ep 7.

I'm really enjoying this show, it's becoming painful to have to wait an entire week for the next episode to come out! After watching Ep3 I am again left wondering why Thailand doesn't produce any BL costume dramas. Much like Battle of the Writers, all the actors look so good in the costume parts with the long hair and robes.

If you have watched other Oxin series, then you sort of know what to expect, it's pretty much more of the same. After watching Ep 6 today, I am finding this one less cringey than Sky Valley. There are still too many characters, and lots of messy plots, but there are some decent performances from some of the cast.

Overall this show was a fun, toxic, ride, even though it lost some points for me with Ep 7-8. Great performances, great production value, and cinematography. Definitely worth the watch! Though nothing will be funnier to me than Ju Seong's dying wish for Da On to finish the presentation. If I had just been kidnapped, almost murdered, and watched someone get stabbed, there is no way I'd be reporting in for work. Did anyone at the conference notice he was covered in blood? :P

One of Yi Ming's biggest problems, other than always putting Ting Ting last, is her own internalized homophobia. It was an issue in Season 1 and it's still an issue in Season 2. I can see they are trying to show us how she's working through these feelings with her boss's relationship, but she was a coward in S1 and still is in S2. When her ex-husband confronts her with the drawing saying "How can I explain this?" she immediately lets that have power over her and makes her act in a way that directly hurts Ting Ting. When in reality the answer is quite simple (Yi Ming loves Ting Ting). And I really didn't like how reading the diary is more effective for Yi Ming, when Ting Ting was literally standing in front of Yi Ming telling her how she felt, quite clearly communicating how she was hurting. I really loved Season 1 and I am enjoying Season 2 but this reconciliation feels too manufactured. I just don't think either one can make the other happy at this point in time. They both need to do some growing before they can be together.

The first season didn't end with them being together, and I don't think the second season should either. Make it another "unhappy" ending with Yi Ming alone and Ting Ting with Ning, then give us season 3 with a bigger time skip where we see both Yi Ming and Ting Ting reuniting after ending other long-term relationships. It feels like such a missed opportunity with their separation in this season to not get to see Ting Ting at least attempt another romantic relationship with Ning.

Agreed! We desperately need another season. Shiro needs to come out at work!

I've just finished Ep 10 and I'm finding that I haven't really connected with this drama, so I'm considering dropping it. I started watching it because of the comments saying it's basically a BL, but I found that once Kim So Yong's inner voice was back to female I'm having difficulty seeing it anything other than a straight romance. I've also seen some other comments about the first half being a bit slow but the second half being really good. But it's just such a time investment with how long each episode is and I'm on the fence. The show is funny and Shin Hye Sun's acting is very good, the dream bathtub scene in Ep 10 was great. There's just something missing for me and I'm not sure what it is. In your opinion, is there anything in the second half that really reinforces the BL element or any queer relationships? I'm okay with spoilers.

EPs 1-2 now have eng subs but the rest of the EP subs are auto-generated and very poor quality unfortunately. It's too bad because the setting of this show is neat, but it is a bit of a challenging watch with the poor subs.

No, there is no romance. It is an ad for wound care cream. The framing device is a cat owner (Pentaii) sees his cat Shelby (Gap) as a human. The cat gets up to no good and causes accidents that require the owner to use the cream. It was silly and cute and you do get to see some hugging/affection between the two.

Agreed! Not sure if you are aware but these two were a side BL couple in the GL show "Secret of Us". This was cute but where it was an ad there wasn't a lot of substance.

Yes! It was visually very stunning and I really enjoyed the costuming, the personalities of all the characters, and the overall story. It fell a little short for me on the emotion. I didn’t connect with it the way others have, so it felt a bit hollow at times. It made the bromance and romance feel a bit weak. It’s an 8/10 for me!
