I understand you, but it is a way for companies to make money, which is through these events and fanmeets. And,…
The problem I have with this approach is that it just ruins all momentum they've built up over the course of the show to wait 2-3 weeks for the final episode. Maybe the trick is waiting until Idol Factory productions have finished airing to start watching, but I like to try to support the shows with my views each week. It just otherwise puts a bit of a damper on what have been overall, enjoyable series.
I love that Tor is playing a similar character to Nail in "For Him". He's assertive, sassy, knows what he wants and how to get it. This show is not going to win any awards, but it was a lot of pulpy fun if you can stand the low budget, choppy editing, & vertical film style. You will be rewarded with plenty of kissing scenes!
I donβt know why so many people call Nail/Tor unattractive. I like his look a lot. The concept was interesting…
Tor is also starring in Kiss Me with Unspoken Love, where he plays a similar character. He's assertive, sassy, knows what he wants and how to get it. It's not going to win any awards, but it was a lot of pulpy fun if you can stand the low budget & vertical film style.
Wan about Frank: We're better off as siblings, we can't be lovers Wan about Phleng: We're friends, siblings, lovers, soulmates Suddenly siblings isn't such a big deal :P
The main leads are certainly acting their hearts out with all this drama! This show is a lot of fun.
Say what you will about this show as a whole, Tutor & Yim have never acted better or looked better in a series. It finally recaptures the spark between them that was so good in Cutie Pie S1. I particularly love their novel styling, Yim was so beautiful in the Ep 9 novel love scene. If you're going to watch this show, you have to watch the uncut version.
I know there's no point in trying to understand the plot of this show at all, but what happened to the hinted romance between Ipe and a stable boy (I don't really remember their name/role)? It was relatively early on in the series, but I don't remember it coming up again (and doubt it will in Ep 13). Maybe I misunderstood, especially because it felt like Ipe kept saying they are straight. I thought it was going to be a gag later that he ended up with the stable boy.
People want more, but the problem is they stopped making good ones... (I'd love a good recommendation for a 2024…
I liked Marahuyo Project (2024), but it's less of a true BL/Romance and more of a coming-of-age/slice-of-life story. The production quality was really good with some great acting performances. It has that earnestness that borders on preachy, but I couldn't help but enjoy this series!
This is honestly so good π waiting for season 3 π
I really enjoyed S2! It felt much more coherent than S1 to me, and definitely left me looking forward to S3. Season 3 episodes 1 & 2 are available on YouTube now. Do you know if S3 has already been submitted to MDL to be added?
My least favorite of their recent short series. The story was all over the place. Great production values and…
I wish they just focused on one of the two major plots - either the love triangle with Minji or Daeyeong's ex returning. By the end of the show I had almost forgotten that these were the same characters from Ep1-3. They packed a lot of drama into eight short episodes, and unfortunately, it wasn't very successful.
Anyone knows how long is the uncut version of ep 8?
Generally speaking the "uncut" parts are separate videos. So each episode is "cut" (8-10 mins) then there is a separate video (usually 1:30-3:00 mins in length) labelled the same episode number but UNCUT, which contains the extended kiss scenes.
In the case of EP 8, the episode is 10:33 mins, and the separate EP8 "uncut" video is 1:42 mins. Episodes EP1, EP3, EP4, EP5, EP7, EP8 have "uncut" scenes. I hope this makes sense :P
I really enjoyed this series but the one-year time skip at the end did not seem necessary. Especially because it seemed to reveal that although Ayaka & Hiroko had been dating for a year (maybe I misunderstood), they still had not had sex. It just feels out of character if Hiroko had really been such a legendary playgirl.
So... I'm only on episode 2 and I read some of the comments here but... I'm wondering what is so good about this…
Maybe check-out user "BL Compilations" review, they provide watch suggestions which may cut-out some of the story elements that don't work so well. For me the show started out okay (although a bit creepy), then it got near unbearable in the middle, but won me back over with ep 9-10. Overall it's a 6.5/10 for me.
I really enjoyed this short series. Park Luke definitely stole the show and did an amazing job. He reminded me a bit of Leslie Cheung, there was something very special about those sad/helpless eyes.
