Yes please! We need a great edit of all their cute moments together. Jian and Zhao are essentially married ("sworn brothers"). Even after all is said and done, Jian wants to take Zhao back to Shenji Valley, then to Zhao's village to meet his parents. I loved when Zhao removed Zhan's hand from Jian's and replaced it with his own. Too cute!

I think Sailub did a great job portraying a strict/serious character without them being a total unlikeable monster (I'm looking at you, Ohm in 'Bake Me Please').

I don't think I've ever disliked a character so strongly in a show before. Just seeing Chet's face on my screen got my blood boiling. He definitely did not earn or deserve a redemption arc. The whole family was so infuriating! For me, a happy ending would have been Nueng & Anueng cutting these toxic people out of their lives and living happily ever after.

I agree that the casting for the older Neung and Aneung don't quite work. Yoko has quite a unique look, so that would be very hard to cast for. I do think the actor for older Neung did a great job with the characterization, with her body language and acting. I'm not always a fan of time skips at the very end of shows, and wish they had taken it further than just 16 years. Show me Neung in her late 70s and Aneung in her early 60s, so we can really reflect on the weight of their lives spent together.

I really enjoyed this show but I was a little disappointed we didn't get a kiss redemption with Nu and Tan.

I recently watched Friend with Benefits (2024) and really liked it. These women are allowed to be mature and make decisions for themselves, to have desire and be desired (and a bit messy). The leads also have insane chemistry with one another, and Nune especially was so charismatic I couldn't take my eyes off of her. Production quality is a little lacking, and there's some unnecessary drama, but the chemistry more than makes up for it. Available on YT. Blank & Blank S2 are also both great!

Someone needs to write a show for them where Bank is a travel vlogger and he meets Mos as a guide somewhere. I just need an excuse to see more of their travel vlogs where their chemistry is off the charts!

Mos is just so charismatic I would watch him in anything!

It's been so long since I've even watched Episode 9, but here's my pitch. Qatar discovers the truth behind the parentage of Khun's nephew and confronts Khun about it. Since Qatar was the only person on his side, this pushes Khun over the edge as the ghosts of his deceased brother and sister-in-law continue to taunt him into madness. Khun thinks he is attacking the ghosts, but is in fact attacking Tao & Vit, killing them both. When Khun is arrested, the police discover all of the dead bodies (the ones Vit and Tao were responsible for) and he is convicted of all the murders. Qatar becomes the legal guardian of the nephew, and they move to a pretty seaside town. Khun continues to be haunted by the homophobic ghosts in prison. THE END.

With the likelihood that we'll ever get to see the final episode pretty slim, we're free to imagine whatever we'd like the ending to be! Just for fun, how do you picture the series ending?

This may be a stupid question, but did Tong and Ming ever hook-up? I recall in an early episode that Ming leaves Joe for a period of time to see Tong, and when he comes back he appears slightly disheveled, maybe he's tucking his shirt back into his pants. At the time I remember thinking it implied that something physical had occurred between Tong and Ming, but then it was never really hinted at again. Just that Tong was leading Ming on etc. Did I misinterpret that? I'm also wondering if Tong and Ming's relationship in the novel is ever physical.

Haha she is a bit full-on in the first half, but because of plot reasons, it eases off a bit in the second half. The acting is really good, and both main leads deliver great emotional performances.

This movie was just a lot of fun and was so camp. I really enjoyed it.

I feel like the relationship lost its spark post-haunted house. In the early episodes Q Toey story was giving me the most butterflies, but something has fizzled for me since then. It feels a little too cutesy, lacking a bit of passion or depth. I'm still thoroughly enjoying this entire show though. And when Q and Toey were arguing it was really affecting. Hoping they can gain back some of that early episode chemistry for the final episodes for a strong finish!

Anyone else notice what looked like a Canadian flag draped over something in Latte's room in Ep 3? I always wonder how these sorts of things end up on these sets. The wildest was a t-shirt Chimon wore in "He's Coming to Me", a company minor hockey Christmas tournament t-shirt for a steel manufacturer in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.

I thought that too while watching Ep 3. Seng looked a bit like New in some shots, maybe the hair + worried/thinking expression?

I just finished episode 3 and so far, no obnoxious sponsorships and not very cringe! It's actually pretty fun. If you don't like whiny characters, it may not be for you.

This was such a fun short series! The main leads, Nune and Vicky, had incredible chemistry with one another. Nune in particular was so charismatic it was hard to take my eyes off her. This show was able to deliver a satisfying story in a shorter time frame than most higher budget/longer production GLs. They did use some well worn tropes and crammed in just a little too much drama/conflict in the last two episodes, but that wasn't enough to put me off. It also did not shy away from the kissing, which was a pleasant surprise. So often these GLs feel sanitized and the women almost infantilized, but this show let the main leads experience desire and be a bit messy.
