I couldn't even focus on the sex scene.
My head alternated between: "He finally said it!", "No! Let's not forget about it!!", "Why are you having sex right now?!", "Poor, crying Diao 😭" and "Uff, this is icky on multiple levels."
Honestly. I wouldn't have noticed if they were shown buck naked the whole time 😶

To me, I liked the first 2 episodes. Then it tanked and now it's just in free fall.
I wouldn't say there's much development in CP. There's mostly just short-lived progress which is used for justifying a romance scene and washed away afterwards. There certainly are slow patches in CP, too, especially later on.
I would have recommended this show only if you are in it for fanservice and can ignore the plot and characters. Because those parts are just boring, inconsistent, messy, and (subjectively) icky.
The vast majority of comments on yt are overly possitive, regardless of show and current plot situation imo. Half of them tend to be about leads' chemistry and generosity of the studio. This show seems to have a lot of views, though. I would say it's mostly because of aggressive marketing and fanservice (on top of it being free), but who knows.
As for SCOY, I mostly enjoy it, but not because of the plot. It's the kind of show that doesn't even try to have a plot to begin with. I like how ridiculous and OTT it is.

I really like how they don't rush the romance aspect, since it wouldn't make sense with this premise. And even then, you can see the chemistry between main leads 🙂
The plot is as realistic as it can be with such theme. The only thing I don't like is the "watcher" character. I would have either erased him completely, or made him less chaotic. I just can't take him seriously like this.
I hope it won't get repetitive with the loops, but so far, that doesn't seem to be the case.
Overall, this a pretty solid show. Not too serious I would have to devote all my braincells to it, but with more depth than your standard fluffy romance BL.

That said, this show involves multiple aggressive scenes and scenes with dubious consent, so I don't think you can avoid either if that's a deal breaker for you.
If you're only worried about comments, I would have just ignored them. This discussion page moves pretty fast, so you probably won't be exposed to them for long (for that particular scene).

That's an interesting question. If Porsche topped Kinn instead, I would be fine with the overall morality of portraying such scene. Because
1. Porsche is drugged. Hence not in control of himself. I can imagine Porsche having an auditory and visual hallucinations and not even realizing/understanding fully what he's doing.
2. Kinn would be more than capable to push Porsche away. From what I've seen, Porsche could barely stand. I kinda doubt he would be able to do the penetrating at all, let alone against Kinn's will.
It would still be a very messy and uncomfortable scene. But I would have no longer consider it a "romanticized rape" portrayal.
