Exactly! I didn't even realize Jao's meant to be chubby until Sky told him he can help Jao work out (the beach scene few episodes ago). I was like : "That's really an odd thing to say to your crush." But then everyone started commenting on Jao's body. So I just take it at face value now.

Also, I don't like how they address it in the show. It's always either "I can help you become thinner if you want to" or they're trying to downplay it. I know this isn't a serious drama most of the time, but sometimes having a deep, somber conversation helps. It could boost Jao's confidence imo if he just talked it out with Sky honestly.
