So I’m just going to weigh in on Nuea and Syn’s thing here. Nuea’s reaction to Kuea this episode actually…
"...because from what we have seen Nuea has liked kuea since before he even joined the engineering class."
Frankly, I think Nuer never liked Kuea romantically. His whole persona screamed at me "I'm gonna use this rich guy for whatever specific task was entrusted to me". He even started flirting with Syn at almost the same time as he showed interest in Kuea!! If they push this *plotline* (I'm using the word "plot" very loosely here) to "Nuer had crush on Kuea but ultimately chose Syn", I will be quite disappointed.
But now that I think about it again, that's exactly what CP would do.
A new bl is gonna come out today .. 'Ocean likes me' every Tuesday and Wednesday. You guys can check it out. Holland's…
We'll see. For me, K-BLs are way better in their movie cut version, but I'll give the first ep a try at least. Not like it's a big time investment with them either way :)
i'm curious.. When did guys started watching bl? What was your first reaction/ feeling watching it?
2gether. Don't remember exactly when, but it must have been at least 3 years ago.
Honestly, I was kinda avoiding it at first (because preconceptions), but then Sarawat won me over. It surely helped that I'm easily swayed by music 💙
Edit no one cares for: I was just made aware 2gether is april 2020 drama!!!! 😱😱😱 I still think it was my first official BL drama, so it's probably less then 2 years since I got obsessed with BL dramas. I did consume some shounen ai/yaoi/danmei manga and anime before though, so I don't consider myself new in the BL world. Also, it has been hella long 2 years 😭😭😭
I had such a misconception about this! I thought the real Adachi was meant to be Kurosawa, who for some reason is still a student (part-timer/intern) at their firm. And their covorker who offloads his work on real Adachi was actually meant to be an Adachi! (hope it makes sense)
It made me hesitant to start the drama. But after finishing episode 1, it seems pretty good 🙂
The whole point of the early kiss is so that the next scene isn't SUPER non-con, this is done so that sexual attraction…
Like I get why the kiss is there, I just didn't care for it. It didn't make me feel anything. It was just... a kiss. They could have bumped shoulders and it would have the same emotional impact on me. Which is weird, but whatever. Since the production clearly didn't want to make it a big scene, I won't consider it one.
One does not simply get character development or story progress from Cutie Pie, mimi 😥
Star in my mind is pretty good! But it's a fairly standard BL (if you watched 2moons, they're kinda similar). It's very sweet and fluffy, but not much dramatic nor toxic (one of the MLs is stoic, but that's about it).
I like it so far. It's sort of a comfort show for me you don't have to think too much about.
Episode 3 focused more on characters' developments than story progression, which in my opinion was pretty needed at this time. I also feel it striked a better balance between serious drama (which was heavy in episode 1) and comedy (which filled most of second episode). I still think they could show more some of characters' feelings and talk more about some others, but overall it was an improvement for me.
Also, I felt like they were some time skips and odd cuts this episode. But maybe it was just me.
"Porsche, do you think this girl will die?" I can't 😂
I thought Tankhun wouldn't want to even mention the kidnapping. Odd.
How is it possible that the one character that is portrayed as a lunatic has the most sense when it comes to Porsche?
The dancing scene in a bar was silly, but pretty fun. And I'm so so glad nothing happenned to Tankhun. Kinn would be furious otherwise.
Hot guy coming from Kinn's bedroom. We love to see it.
Yes!! Let's dye Porsche's hair 🤩
Not an epiphany I expected Porsche to have, but it works.
Around minute 22, how did Porsche get to the house Kinn's interrogating some old guy in?
Finally we see deeper into Porsche!
Why is Porsche not feeling the shot? Could adrenaline do that irl?
The second bar scene was overdone, but I appreciate the eye candy 🍡
Hammered Porsche is cute Porsche.
Don't lie, Kinn! We all know you are smitten ✨
[Ok, this is gonna sound really shallow] As great as the pier scene was (probably my favorite so far), it would be so much better imo if Porsche looked more "vulnerable" (younger, smaller, with gentler features). I don't know how book's Porsche is meant to look like, but I felt like the scene didn't hit me quite as much as it would have otherwise.
Also an unpopular opinion, but I wish they hadn't kissed. I mostly watch dramas when the first pair kiss is something special, and this one was kinda underwhelming. I had to replay it multiple times just to make it memorable.
But the music during the kissing scene was beautiful. Maybe it's just the way they shot it? (angles and close-ups)
Overall, I enjoyed this episode more than the second one. I hope they have more development prepared for Tankhun. He's interesting to me, but so far they seem to be using him for comedic relief mostly. Even Porsche is becoming more likeable to me. Kinn stays the same. Kim made quite an entrance and we haven't seen him yet. Aside from character development, there wasn't much of a plot progression. But since it's only episode 3, I'm fine with that.
He looks like a star of the night, dressed like that.

I only disagree with you on one thing, and that's Nuer's tiddies. Because at that time, it was like a sign from Gods for me to continue this mess.

But we've already got so far! Surely something will happen next episode 🙏
Imagine red-headed Porsche for the next 2 episodes. That's my kind of comedy 💚
