Im not sure whether it’s because of subs but I didn’t understand the reason he cut her waist? Was he thinking that she was pregnant when she was matter in fact on birth control or did I read it wrong and he cut waist down because she might be pregnant? If that’s the case it makes him 100% more chilling because he wouldn’t mind killing the mother of his child but didn’t want to kill his child. If he indeed cut her waist without knowing that she was on birth control then he’s one of the scariest sociopaths I’ve seen in movies
Here’s my theory: SSR is not dead, the woman who was killed was the twins’s biological mother who looks exactly like SSR. After SSR left dantae and he got married to another woman, I think he got married to someone whoo looks like SSR or got ps to look like SSR because dantae is a psycho who was trying to replace her. Few episodes ago we found out that SSR had found the twins biological mom and probably got in contact with her even though it hasn’t been shown yet. Another thing is the maid called saying the twins are in danger, which would make more sense for the biological mother to see them. I think SSR went to the mother and gave her the clothes she was wearing. If you notice when the maid called SSR was wearing earrings but when the supposedly SSR ran into the penthouse she wasn’t wearing the earrings.
Cheon Seojin you crazy witch I love you to bits! Her acting in ep20 during the phone call was amazing. I hope she gets to shine even more during season 2&3
Rewatching this now that im an adult and im glad I have grown and now know better. The FL is plain stupid and has no backbone and Shin has an emotional intelligence of a carrot. He’s emotionally unavailable, self absorbed& self victimizing and low key abusive towards the FL. He needs therapy not marriage.

I enjoy characters that start out “good” and slowly lose their soul to greed so I don’t mind what they did to yeonhee’s character. I guess she brought comfort to some viewers so seeing her become more evil might be disappointing to some viewers.
Also I don’t think logan lee & sooryun are necessary “good” or morally pure, more so I believe that they will betray each other and become more evil as time goes on, remember there are 2 more seasons left.
I really like seojin, she’s not a good person nor a good person but the actress has done such well job with the character I found myself secretly rooting for her. She might even make allegiance with suryeon in the future to take down yeonhee, I look forward it.

She is definitely mentally unstable, there’s no denying that, everyone in this drama need psychiatric help tbh but I don’t agree with her acting skills. I thought she was actually great when she visited the psychologist and was pretending to be normal but otherwise she’s just going overboard with her expressions, I really don’t like her input of a mentally ill person. There are alot of mentally ill characters in Girl Interrupted and all of them look genuinely mentally ill, their acting is natural and they don’t overdo their facial expressions. Your eyes don’t pop out of your head when you become mentally unstable, I don’t think she’s a great actor for merely managing to make the character unlikeable. Choi seojin / kim seoyeon changed her acting style to be quite dramatic to go with the makjang plotline yet she manages to pull it off like a glove. Im sure the actress is a sweet girl and all but I don’t like her acting at all.
