There is no need to complain about your fav drama having lower ratings on the Mdl page of another drama. That’s how y’all create fanwars. You can appreciate or complain about either drama on the comment section of their independent Mdl pages or don’t type anything at all.

Why tf are you bringing up another drama here? In terms of cast popularity, moonlit reunion has the more famous leads with more international fans that can give their dramas high reviews. In comparison, the main leads in this drama don’t have as much international fans, and this drama crawled all the way from a score below 8 to 8.5 only because people liked the story and the chemistry.

If moonlit reunion is performing worse despite having way more hype before airing, why are you coming here to make a fuss?!

The trailer for episode 15 is cracking me up..lmao. Something I really love about this drama is that they interspersed the very heavy scenes with light hearted scenes, making the drama seem overall more lighthearted. If not, this would have been a very traumatic watch tbh. I don’t think I have seen cultivators as evil as the Shi Clan and the 8 palaces in this drama.

I think the only reason why he is not so hard on Ruling is so that Tingyan will have someone to accompany her if he dies. But I hope either him or Tingyan discover what a betrayer she is and cut her off. That stupid snake is too far gone.

He has such a melancholic look to him too. He does the cold arrogant act well but sometimes he has this sad look, and you can’t help but feel so bad for him.

It’s called wilful ignorance. Those blood thirsty cultivators have all drank his clan’s blood and feasted on their flesh. They are willing to turn a blind eye and make up stories to cover everything up if it mean they can trap him again to use him to advance their cultivation.

This is the same thing that happened in legend of female general with He Yan and Chu Zhao. I didn’t even understand their “friendship” at all.

You are right. Frankly, I am questioning why the screen writers wrote it this way. In the novel, there was no love line between Ruling and the snake, idk why the screenwriters had to shoe horn it into the drama. Even if he loves Ruling, he knows the 8 palaces are after Sima Jiao’s life, yet his immediate concern is to stay with Ruling instead of heading out to look for his master? That stupid smile he has when he is with Ruling gets me more irritated, he literally hangs onto her every word no matter how stupid. Didn’t he learn anything at all from Sima Jiao after staying with him for 500 years? So stupid.

I went from finding that snake cute to hoping he dies or pays with his life if he betrays Sima Jiao. After suffering so much and seeing his people used as breeding hens for those evil cultivators, the last thing Sima Jiao needs is his pet snake betraying him for a stupid reason. Idk why they even have a love line between that betrayer Ruling and the snake, I don’t feel any chemistry between them, and the snake is just too stupid to live.

Episode 13 had me screaming!! Did they actually make love or what…cos my girl Tingyan was sweating after she “gave it another try” to not waste her effort..or does dual cultivation require undressing him and dropping kisses all over his body?
