Sima Jiao will probably kill him in the demon realm.

Ruling is gradually tasting the side effects of siding with the devil. I don’t pity her one bit.

I kind of expect a modern woman who transmigrated into the cultivation world to struggle with killing, even if those evil people are deserving of death. Killing is heavily frowned upon in modern society, and even if someone does something deserving of death, civilians still won’t kill the person, they just hand them over to law enforcement or something. She will probably get used to killing in the demon realm, cos life will be much harder there without him. At least he helped her through it her first time.

It’s frustrating but I understand her. She came from the modern world, and the mentality here is not to kill anyone under any circumstances. Even if someone does something deserving of death, the law enforcement deals with it, but normal civilians do not kill. Obviously in the cultivation world, it’s kill or be killed out there, but her mentality won’t change immediately. That’s quite realistic. At least, the ML helped her through her first time, so in the future she will get used to doing it if it’s necessary, instead of being bullied. I think in the next arc in the demon realm, she will be quite good at it.

This couple’s sweet moments are something else entirely. Can hardly believe it’s a xianxia drama. They just enjoy touching each other, kissing each other..too cute. I also love when Tingyan acts cute so he can pamper her, his little smiles are the sweetest then. It’s so nice that he can experience happiness with her after everything he went through. He even had a flower bloom in that mountain of volcanoes soul manor of his.

I keep rewatching episode 15… this drama will definitely be high up my rewatch list if it maintains its momentum till the end.

To an extent, he already has. Tingyan said he now falls asleep faster than she does. Lol..

Tingyan saying Jiao Jiao is too cute! This couple will give me cavities with their sweetness.

In earlier episodes ,when Tingyan first went up the mountain, Ruling was nice to her and even tried to save her when she thought Tingyan was being bullied, so I guess that’s how their friendship blossomed. I’m glad the show didn’t drag it out so much and Tingyan now knows about Ruling’s betrayal.

Precisely my irritation with her. I started really hating her character after she saw the atrocities against the extended sima clan on that mountain and still chose to side with that evil man that perpetrated those atrocities and even covered it up for him. She has no right to even judge anyone.

I was happy sima Jiao didn’t listen to Tingyan’s plea to let that evil princess go. He was kind enough to not kill her, but I think his punishment of draining her cultivation is even worse for her, cos that’s what she has been doing to all those female disciples.

I understand Ruling’s quagmire but she is going about it the wrong way. Since the sima clan set up the immortal-demon barrier to protect immortals, then sima Jiao can bring it down too. She is already close to two of his closest confidants - Tingyan and Nanjiu. What I expected her to do is to aid Sima Jiao like Yuan che, one of those palace masters is doing, and one day he may help her. It’s not like the immortals are worth shit to him anyways considering how much those evil cultivated persecuted him and his clan. I just don’t get why she is so fixated on killing him so much so that she would willingly betray the only 2 genuine friends she has. She is quite stupid.

I had a flash of irritation when Tingyan briefly took out her frustration of Ruling’s betrayal on Sima Jiao, but it’s a good thing she corrected herself immediately. He didn’t deserve that at all after willingly walking into a trap to save her life. Like sima Jiao said, no need brooding over the loss of a false friend. As for the snake, he is more annoying with his attachment to Ruling, hope he has permanently snapped out of it.

I wanted her to kill him then..both characters are so annoying.

Sima jiao’s reaction to seeing her injured and bloodied..omg! I had to pause several times, take a deep breathe before I continued watching. Idk how.. but his reaction is even more intimate than a kiss. Her vulnerability on seeing him is so cute too. I love this couple so much.

Almost? It’s way more lovey dovey than LBFAD. Their intimacy is so natural and frequent in this drama as though they are a married couple.

Tingyan and her random modern phrases..lol. It’s so cute watching Sima Jiao trying to understand her. My cheeks hurt from smiling.

Tingyan telling Sima Jiao, “didn’t you have trouble falling asleep before? Now you fall asleep faster than me” … he feels so happy and relaxed around her.

This is one of those rare Cdramas where the traumatized ML has such a laid back and relaxed FL. It makes the angst in the drama more palatable.

lol Tingyan and her times table recitation is cracking me up. The truth spell is one thing but now he can hear her thoughts cos of their soul bond..well, I’m sure that skill will come in handy later.
