How cruel of him to keep Xiwen wheel chaired bound for most of her life, stuck in a mansion that brings her nothing but torment. You can't force love, dear Shiyang, You can keep her physical body but you will never gain her trust nor love and it's been 20 years old man. >:o

The fact that this drama is so realistic, it just adds more dislike to Wang He. I will never like people who think of money before their employees. It's just wrong, and he had the audacity to yell at his childhood friends. ugh yeah sure he's just following orders but he won't even sit down and understand Xingchi, instead he just yells and yells. I absolutely dislike people like that.

Anyone else screamed when Li Sheng came on screen? I remember her as Yan Zi. 🤣

I never enjoyed Yang Yang's acting because he couldn't move his facial muscles until Who Rules the World is where I noticed his improvements but not enough for me to go " wow!" I haven't followed his works after that drama so I can't say how he is now.

Unfortunately, his stoic character does not give him excuse to not have any emotion on his face
there's plenty of actors who can act subtle with stoic characters. Yun Lai haven't showcased any of that ability yet.

I'm not sure if it's his lack of facial and eye acting or something but I'm not feeling Yunlai's acting ability here. Granted, I've only seen him in Legend of Shen Li but I had expected more acting here. Most of the time he just stands there looking blank or dumbfounded. The chemistry between his character and Hanyan is lacking because of it. Suddenly they're sitting together on a horse and I'm suppose to think they have an intense moment but I don't feel it at all...

Damn, I was hoping Hanyan would be able to choke the conniving stepmother to death. But that was an intense scene, I had to replay it a couple times. LOOOL
