Title The Day of Becoming You Spoiler
I literally had an argument with myself (I know it sounds so weird let it be)... should I just forgive writer…
About the ending? It bummed me out too. But I read that it's likely because the drama would have been banned otherwise due to the themes. Now I'm a little afraid to watch other body-swapping and time-traveling themed chinese dramas though ><.

any second couple? The doctor and friend? Are they going to be a thing?.
Not yet, probably because it's quite a short drama. But there could be some Tong Hua and Jia Shu interaction based on the ending sequence.

What kind of romance trope would you describe this drama as: enemies to lovers, slow-burn?
I'd say it's a slow burn - they aren't enemies but they don't like each other very much off the bat and the ML is a character that's very closed off emotionally to everyone at the start. It's quite sweet to watch them slowly get to know each other and fall for each other so far.

The thing which gets me about this drama is just how much free time these people seem to have 😂. Don’t get…
Hahha yes. With the FL, I guess it can be explained by her job as a reporter though - sometimes she says she's running down a lead and sometimes she goes on leave but comes back with a story. But with the ML, it really feels like he's an idol that's been put on a hiatus instead of someone prepping for a solo album 😂 .

If I have one criticism though, it's that it's kind of abrupt how the drama switches from being a romcom to a complete sitcom when they switch bodies. But we're only halfway through so I'm hoping that gets better.

This drama really is good if you just want a light-hearted watch to get your mind off things. It has witty writing and a cast that does a fantastic job at bringing the laughs. And I'm so charmed by Xincheng and Liang Jie's portrayals of the lead characters both before and after the switch. They're just so much fun to watch.

I think the actor that Liang Jie has the best chemistry so far with is Steven Zhang
Actually I think it's the same with Xincheng - Liang Jie is the leading lady he has the most chemistry with so far in the dramas for me. They're both really natural actors and good at creating a believable onscreen couple.

Yessss, finally a new Zhang Xincheng drama! The first few eps were too funny - I kept pausing to laugh and then having rewatch, first at the scenes between ML (or rather the FL? hahahah) and his agent, and then later at the conversations between the ML and FL.

This was a hard one. I was so torn between Go Ahead and Flower of Evil as my first pick because both dramas made me turn on the waterworks - I went with Go Ahead in the end since it didn't just make me cry, it made me laugh a lot as well,

I recommend young blood, it's a really good and well thought drama. though it's a low budget, you will never regret…
Yes, I've started Young Blood - it's so much better than I expected from the poster and summary and Xincheng's portrayal of Yuan Zhongxin really gave me more appreciation for him as an actor. He's so good at building unique characters even though he's a relatively new and young actor. I hope we get to see him in more meaty roles soon!

I adored this dude so much in Go Ahead but it's Skate into Love that's really made me into a fan. Can't decide which drama to watch next - it's always such a pleasure to get into new actors!

I prefer the first season of the anime out of all the adaptations of the source material to date but this was actually a pretty good adaptation. I've actually watched it 3 times! Can't wait for the sequel to air as well.

I don't think it was removed. This was distributed by Viki instead of Netflix when it was on air so it hasn't even aired on Netflix yet in Asia.

Just try 18 Again, and that should bring you out of such slumps, It's a heartwarming melodrama and even tho there's…
I second this. After Flower of Evil, 18 Again is one of the few that I really enjoyed. Would love to see Kim Haneul and Lee Joongi act together someday.

The writing and acting are nothing to write home about but the drama is still pretty entertaining, especially when you just want something light to play in the background.

I also have to say, the scriptwriter really deserves recognition for this one. It's amazing that they managed to take the cheesy premise of the original film and turn it into the gem that's 18 Again.

Title 18 Again
I was prepared to drop this after a couple of eps because I'd already seen the original American film and the plot seemed to be identical. I was not expecting this drama to knock me off my socks and turn into a really heartfelt touching family drama that brought me to tears more than once. Kudos to Kim Ha Neul in particular. I've never seen her in anything before but she was the soul of this show for me. And the younger cast was surprisingly solid as well. I'll definitely keep an eye out for their future dramas.
