I remember it being a 9.1 when it was airing lolol
8.8 is still a great score but a drama with this kind of quality deserves something higher. I have yet to finish TW, but the rating of 9.2 kind of bugs me.
i just realised that ML is younger than FL in real life with the same age gap ....😂😂
I believe they also first met in real life when they had to do a commercial back in early 2016. The ML was 21 years old, and the FL was 25 years old at the time, and then they reunited in this drama, which is called Twenty-Five Twenty-One. Crazy.
this series is so drab, I dropped it at episode 2. Drab, depressing watching someone in a lowly state bring others…
As the other user said, it starts going after 4 episodes, and if you don't feel hooked by around the 4th to 6th episode, I suggest dropping it. It's actually really inspiring and cathartic by the end in many ways despite being dull. It's a well-written drama, but it isn't for everyone.
Just came here to increase my rating of this drama as I still think about it from time to time. The funny thing…
I think what made the show so memorable was also its amazing soundtrack; Your Existence by Wonstein has such a nostalgic yet out-of-world feel to it. I think it is the best K-drama song I have listened to, and I still have it on repeat. I also think about the drama from time to time as well, or maybe almost every day. Everything about it is so unforgettable, and it makes it even harder for me to watch other dramas because of my emotional attachment to the drama, unlike any other show I have ever watched. In quality, it is a close 10 (around a 9.5; no drama is ever perfect), but my final rating was a 10 because the 0.5 added to the emotional impact it had on me and how much I thought about it after I finished it. It felt like I somehow also matured or changed after finishing it.
Pretty decent overall. I watched this last year when I heard people were comparing it to Twenty-Five Twenty-One, which is my favourite drama of all time and one of the best shows I have ever seen. The cinematography was nice, but the story didn't have anything new, so it wasn't as memorable at all. It seems like the writer and director had to write a forced and abrupt ending of the ML dying for the story to have more impact, but it was poorly structured within the given time frame. Otherwise, there isn't much to like or comment about it, and the ending did not add to it. Not so much of a fan. 6.5/10
I plan to watch this, but I fear it will end up being pretentious coming from the likes of My Mister. I would rather have no expectations, especially when it comes to dramas that are similar to those that have had a much bigger impact on me since it could allow for more disappointment, but sometimes, it can't be helped when it has been on my watchlist for a while, and the anticipation hits.
